Great product if you have humidity
Wonderful, grippy, but gooey to apply - super great adhesion - but absolutely need humidity such as East or West coast, near water, Great Lakes or humid Georgia. I live in Colorado and it is still gooey on my sailboat - called the company - they said need 50-60% humidity or it won't dry. Used in my bathtub and I had to leave hot steaming water in the tube twice and it adhered perfectly. Otherwise would be 5 stars in a humid climate. 2 stars for Colorado - but it's not chemical reaction for drying - it's reactive to humidity.

Dispensing is incredibly difficult.
The material in the dispenser is great, I've used it in a standard caulking gun for years and never had an issue. I have a small spot to hit on a seam that was about 3 ft long and didn't want to use an entire cartridge so I thought I would try the smaller tube. Let me say that I'm in construction and in pretty good shape, physically stronger than most men. Encounter, and trying to dispense the caulk out of this was incredibly taxing. I struggled for half an hour to caulk a 3-ft line. It wasn't that cold out. Maybe 80° so it wasn't for sure. It was just that the caulk is thick and difficult to use in that applicator.

Saved $1000 with this purchase
Body shop wanted $1000 for new front valance because a tab had broken off. Upon the shop’s recommendation I purchased this and glued the piece in place. Problem solved and you can’t tell the difference.

Easy to apply
Takes days to dry. Should hold up long term on my boat

Worked as advertised, but have no idea about durability.
Used beneath toilet that could 'potentially' leak causing floor damage. The existing ring was beneath newly added flooring, creating a possible reservoir. Used Sikaflex-291 because it is a marine grade sealant/caulk to seal the area between the outside of ring and original flooring.

This stuff is the best.
I worked for about 10 years in the professional yachting industry in Europe and that's where I learned about Sikaflex. It's the absolute go to for any type of sealant needed on oceangoing yachts. I'm back in the States now and working on a camper conversion project and I've mainly been using Sikaflex, I did try using some regular polyurethane sealant from the hardware store and Sikaflex is so far and beyond a better product. When it's wet it's easier to work with, and when it dries, it doesn't shrink and it's far more durable. I absolutely recommend it.

Holds good
Only gave it 4 stars on ease of use because it seem to get on everything regardless of how slow I go. But, I use it to put pool tiles back on the wall and so far none have fallen off in 3 years. I always have 3-4 fall off in the spring from the temperature change from winter. I just clean the spot and stick them back on and grout them in. I keep thinking i will eventually have them all done.

Worked great on my small camping trailer
Used this to seal some leaks in my camping trailer. Previously, I had used silicon, but it didn't hold up. It's only been a month, but this seems like it will last for a very long time. Went on smoothly and looks good

Has not followed it's own instructions
I used this to redo all the outside joints on my RV. First, I removed the old caulk and cleaned the joints with a cleanser and then washed the cleanser off with rags and water, then rubbed dry with a clean rag. Then left the joint to continue to air dry any remaining moisture as moved to another joint. Once air dried as well, I applied the Sikaflex-291 and left the seams to cure overnight. I found it really difficult to apply and the best way to smooth the joint was dipping my fingers in rubbing alcohol first and then smooth along the seam. Wipe any excess collected on a rag, But always moisten your finger first with the rubbing alcohol before touching the Sikaflex again. (I had no success using soapy water - but rubbing alcohol allowed me to smooth joints or overlap caulking joints.) Then leave it alone. It states somewhere in my reading that it can take up 10 days to cure. And I found that to be pretty accurate except for the North side of my RV does not get any sun on it at this time of year. (October) And that side is taking forever to cure - it is still tacky to the touch and 14 days have passed so far. It's curing slowly but on what time table I do not know. Seams that can see the Sun at some point during the day, caulked with the same tube of Sikaflex, are touchable but the "dark side" is really - really slow to cure. No choice now but to wait and see. The other caulking joints on the other three sides of the RV are touchable but the side that does not see the Sun at all - still tacky at day 14??

Bon produit, mauvaise couleur

Product relabeled incorrectly. Was Sikaflex 252, not 291 and was white, not black as ordered.
Product had a new label attached saying it was black Sikaflex 291, per my order. It is in fact Sikaflex 252 per the actual tube label, not the 291 and is white, not black as ordered. Also the plastic application tip is broken and the round tube end has been damaged in several places. Not a happy camper.

RV ROOF REPAIR
This stuff is amazing! After removing the old antenae from my rv, it left a massive hole in my roof membrane. I used 75% of 1 black tube to trowel over the 12" hole. Then I used a thin layer of white to make it match. After sealing the rest of the rv with white, I tested everything the next day with a garden hose. Where water had previously come in, it was bone dry! I waited 3 weeks and went on holiday. I tested it again after super hot weather and the garden hose. My 18ft rv trailer is still bone dry! Trailer is flexing under dry/wet conditions. Very happy with this amazing product!
