Classificato a 200 psi e 200 gradi F (93 gradi C).

Super easy to use in tight spots
I have a 1/2 inch hose bib I wanted more water to. So I ripped out the existing plumbing and replaced it with 1inch and 3/4 inch CPVC. The hose bib was in a spot where it was hard to get to. I had to transition from 3/4 to 1/2 inch in a spot I could not reach with a torch or CPVC glue very well. This joined the two materials nicely. It leaked a little, but that is because I did not have it fully pushed in to the stop. Once I got it fully pushed in it stopped leaking. I just have a hard time thinking this will last long term. I have two in use both in areas of my basement that are exposed ceilings, but drywalled walls, so a leak could be serious. In one area I think I am going to take this out where I can get to it and make a more permanent threaded male CPVC to female sweated copper just to be 100% sure of the connection. The other one is near a floor drain and harder to get to so I am going to leave that one alone. All in all I would recommend these for exposed areas, if you are in a hurry to get water back on, or if the fitting is in an area hard to reach with a torch, glue, or PEX crimp tool. I wish I would have known you can remove the PEX guides from the fitting with a fitting removal tool and a needle nose pliers. I would have done that hopefully resulting in more unimpeded water flow. I would buy again and if they last 25 years like the MFG warrantees them for then they are a great solution. The hose bibs and therefore the shark bites will be changed out before 25 years go by.

Sharkbite Fittings Review
These fittings are the easiest I've ever used. Just push them all the way on and you're done! Of course I always check for leaks but so far I haven't had a single night ne leak and I've used more than a dozen of these Sharkbite Fittings on different projects of mine and when helping other people out. If all plumbing in the world was this easy everyone would be doing it. Good quality at a decent price.

I hate plumbing
I’m not a plumber and I hate doing a job turning on the water and discover one or more leaks. If you install these the way the manufacturer says you will will save time and headaches. Sure they cost a little more but remember time is money. For me these reduced the cursing, helped my marriage and allowed more time for a few cold ones after the job.

Works great
Use several different sharkbits and they all work great. Just make sure you measure and mark the tubing before insertions so you are sure the tub is completely inserted.

Amazon Used need to look at items.
First off sharkbites work no issues just wish they didn't cost so much. I bought one new and one used trying to save money. I know sometimes Amazon used is a crap shoot. This was the worst I have ever seen. I think know one even looks at their returns. Check out my picture. It came to me with a piece of copper pipe jammed, twisted, and solder dripping down it like they had no idea about pluming and tried to yank the pipe out but didn't work so they cut it off and sent it back. What a disgrace on Amazons part.

Plumber of 30 years, sharkbyte is the only brand.
Sharkbyte is the highest quality . I have purchased many other cheaper brands and realized the metals used to make them probably will not hold up to hard water very long. I would only want Sharkbyte in my home because they are very well made and long lasting. This is NOT the part to try and save a buck !
