Love this gentle, clean shampoo

I love this shampoo! I’ve used other brands and they don’t come close to this. First time I’ve used this scent. And I’m so pleased with it because it’s not too overwhelming. It’s not fruity, or too flowery. I love it! It lathers super well, and washes out easy. I could tell it left my dogs coat clean, light and fluffy. No excess wax film.

Effective "over the counter" treatment for mild skin irritations, including fleabite dermatitis. Mild, earthy, lemony scent that mostly disappears when the dog is dry. Not for intense cleaning jobs, but works well enough if you shampoo, rinse, shampoo and soak for 5 minutes, then do a final rinse. Especially if your dog is itching, be sure the water you are bathing with is not hot but somewhere between warm and cool. Water that is too warm will make the itching worse. There is a matching, really rich conditioner that softens the coat a lot (that could be good or bad, depending on your dog) but it also increases drying time (conditioner feels like it's cholesterol-based). Fyi, if I know I'm dealing with fungal stuff, I use melaleuca (tea tree oil) instead of oatmeal.

The Product is Great! Dealer/Shipping Not So Great!

I agree with all the previous reviews in that this product does a great job when your dog has dry itchy skin, however the seller could have done a better job with the packaging and keeping a better seal on the lid, my package arrived with a quarter of the shampoo spilled out and soaked into the cardboard box. It may be wise to stick with the smaller quantities just to steer clear of an incident like mine, however customer service was very helpful and responsive in resolving the damaged goods. Also as a caution you DO NOT get the dispenser as shown in the image, you have to buy it separately and I suggest you do if you buy the 2.5 gallons so you don't end up clumsily trying to poor some of this shampoo into a smaller bottle.

Wonderful Product.

I used to work in a grooming shop and we used a lot of Top Performance products. I decided to try this one for my German Shepherds at home with dry skin. It has worked wonderfully and smells awesome. I also bought the pump. I squirt about 12 pumps into a gallon pitcher and fill it up with water, mix it, and slowly pour on my dogs while working it into their fur. It suds up wonderfully and leaves them so shiny. We recent rescued a Black shepherd who probably hadn't been bathed for months...if ever. She had dry skin and thinning patches of fur. I've washed her once a week for the past three weeks and her fur is growing back in, she has a constant shine on her coat, and she feels so soft.

Great quality. The groomer at home!

I worked at a pet groomer for several years and we used gallons of this brand in tons of varieties. I have always loved their products since then. Today I used this at home on my chihuahua and it makes his coat so healthy, clean, and shiny. He smells great for quite while. I highly recommend to all of my friends with all sorts of breeds and they have fallen in love too.

My dog smells delicious after washing him 3x with this. I give him a quick pre-wash with this shampoo. Then I wash him again and let it set on his fur for 5 mins then rinse and post-wash him again quickly with it. There is not trace of that dog smell at all. This is the first shampoo that actually works great and helps with dog dander allergy-prone people. I also use the conditioner which leaves his fur feeling so soft.

Works great on both bloodhound and staffy dogs! Makes them super soft! Make sure you really wash it out and dilute it! Smells awesome!
