Really simple

These are easier to connect to the line than normal bobbers. Very simple design and from my baitless bathtub test work pretty well. I wasn’t expecting them to come pre rigged with hooks all ready to Tie on and fish with. Can’t wait to take the kids out and give them a field test.

Works as intended

Took my son to a fishing lake and he managed to tangle all three of them into the branches. Then I noticed how many other like this were caught up in the trees. I guess it worked as intended.

Don't get hooked.

If you have ever gone fishing with a young child, you know that the risk of someone getting hooked is pretty high. Kids are unpredictable and accidents happen. This bobber does a great job of hiding the hook until you cast. Solid product. I caught a decent size fish with my child with no problems.

Still uncertain

We bought these for my kids since we are getting back into fishing after not doing so since before the kids were born. This product is great when the hook is out of the water. I don't worry about my 9 year old and 6 year old catching someone on land. My issue with this is, once casted out, we have the problem of the hook not always coming out of the bobber, or when reeling in slightly to tighten the line, the hook goes right back into the bobber and takes a minute to fall back out. I'm not really sure how to rate this product. It's safety feature is great around the kids but seems too safe around the fish. It is easy to attach to the line and it holds up pretty well to their constant casting and reeling. Overall I guess I would say this product is ok.

Great for skipping a line way deep in grass and under trees to get that bass.

Just add 20-17 lb mono line and tie to a glow beed or there Shakespeare ring and tie a line 5-12 in and there pink,black,red weighted hook and add a live work (night crawler) or what ever your preference ,then wait and the bobber will go down pull in your catch ????. ( and it's weedless )

Good idea but had issues

Great idea but with bait, the hooks kept sticking in the bobber. Would have to keep casting till it would drop out, sometimes losing the bait in the process.

You will actually want to take your young kids fishing now without fearing a visit to the ER

So far my kid hasn't taken out my eye so that's pretty much the only thing a parent needs to know about this product.

Finicky

These aren’t great but do have potential under the right circumstances. The lure often didn’t drop once casted as many others have also mentioned in other reviews. It got wedged under the bobber when it was reeled in so it couldn’t release. Also, we were fishing on a river with a gentle current and that was enough to force the bobber to down to the lure once casted. This made the lure also not able to descend into the water. We haven’t tried these again after our first trip. Like I stated before I can see how these could work but they are finicky and I would rather spend time catching fish then fighting with this bobber.
