Not as wide as the others...
Love the aesthetic of this Squatty Potty. We replaced our (at the time of purchase) most sleek design (IMO) bamboo veneer SP that we had for years and loved. I was excited to have an even more inconspicuous version of the helpful device. Unfortunately, the width of this one is not only much narrower even for my petite frame & small feet, but it also "gives" in the middle when you put the weight of your feet on it. This is again something I will have to live with, but should have been dealt with in the design process. This one will have to suffice because I can't return it and I sometimes value aesthetic over practicality. (I'm not proud of this, but it's true. This is aesthetically superior to all of the other models IMO, but much less practical. :) Overall, I love that it's clear. It cleans up easily with a simple wipe down because the whole finish is smooth, which is in stark contrast to the veneer model- which not only peeled and eventually splintered over a couple years, but also had grooves or ridges for "traction" (I imagine), which was not very hygienic and a bit hard to clean in those grooves. Overall, I think that a bit of clarity in the description would be useful to let people know that it is not the "standard" size and is in-fact rather small.. and also an option for a standard sized option would be awesome. If you want something that will "kinda" support your feet whilst being nearly invisible, this one is for you, but I don't imagine that anyone with larger feet or a larger frame will enjoy. Also, don't expect to use it as a step-stool for kids like you can (with supervision) with the others... it's simply not adequate for that, albeit tempting. Finally, I don't think that it is a good value considering it has a higher price tag than all of the others, yet is not optimal given the aforementioned.

Looks good but flimsey but I guess there's no getting around that, right?
The original one is sturdy. You can use it as a step to reach things that are high. This one you cannot--don't try it--I'm pretty sure it will snap in half. It looks fabulous if that's what you want and that's what I wanted but now I'm not so sure. If all that makes sense?

Makes toilet experience far more comfortable
Although I knew that humans were not originally meant to sit on toilet seats but rather squat over a Hole in the ground, modern society opted for the toilet. When you sit on a toilet seat, your colon is not aligned the same way it would be if you were squatting. I had extensive abdominal surgery some 15 years ago and using the squatty potty has made my toilet time much more comfortable, quicker and pleasant. However others in my household who have not had surgery think it’s great as well! Cons: Since US toilets are a standard height and the squatty potty is 7 inches, one size does not fit all. I’m only 5 feet tall and I would guess that I would need a taller squatty potty than the 7 inches that was being sold. However it still works and it’s still a vast improvement then sitting with your feet on the ground and your colon twisted. This really is a winner! ????

(Squatty) Potty Time...Excellent!!!
I had been "Squatty Potty"-curious for a long time and finally pulled the "Buy Now' trigger. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and wanted to share my thoughts... 1. I went with the clear, acrylic version of the product. I wanted my Squatty Potty to be a subtle addition to my bathroom. I barely see it when my I walk into the room. I stubbed my toe on it a few times before my mind and body finally recognized that it is a part of my toilet. 2. I thought I would feel more of a "squat" when I put my feet on the product. Putting my feet on the Squatty feels natural. I was a little worried that my quads and hamstrings were going to get a workout but I am glad that the seated position feels more relaxed. 3. It DOES make a difference. The process of going has become faster and easier ever since I started using the Squatty Potty as part of my "morning ritual." It WORKS! I absolutely recommend the product. You do need to mindful that it sits at the base of your toilet (prime area for "stubbing of the toe" action). However, the process of going to the bathroom feels more natural and happens more quickly and efficiently for me. LOVE. Just love it.

Sleek and Discrete - almost to a fault!
My partner has IBS, so this item is a must in most of our bathrooms. I wanted something a little more sleek for the master and found this acrylic/ghost one to be the ticket. HOWEVER, it's so discrete that a lot of the time I don't even realize it's there....leading to many stubbed toes. But, alas, we are still happy customers and would order another in a heartbeat.

Worth the money!
I had this in my 'saved for later' cart for over a year, unable to pull the trigger on paying $70 for a squatty potty when I had a perfectly good $30 one in my bathroom...... but it's so pretty! I finally just threw down the money and wish I'd done it sooner. My husband is probably happiest about the purchase, because the clear acrylic just sort of blends into the floor and you don't really notice that it's there. My husband has always been mortified by the squatty potty and moves it any time we have company coming over. Now he can relax. I only gave 4 stars for comfort because it's slimmer than my original one and my feet don't fit quite as comfortably. However, the stylish low profile look and functionality make up for what small reduction in comfort exists.

I thought these were weird
My doctor told me I needed this product because …. I’m constipated. I refused. Thought they were medical looking. Then to my surprise I found the lux line. It fits with the decor and does the job.
