Small, not extremely fast

This sifter is OK if (like me) you don't need to do large quantities often. It is small and slow, the action of the little blades at the bottom is limited, so that not much moves through with each squeeze of the handle. It is faster to tap on the side as you work to increase the flow. On the plus side it is very neat, and doesn't dust the entire work surface with flour. And if you use it, as I do, to sift powdered sugar into recipes you have room to work close to the mixer and keep the flow going into the bowl and not outside of it. Overall, I think that I will have to get a larger one to do cakes and such where I need 3 cups sifted quickly.

Works Great

We were using one of the crank types until I saw this as a recommendation on Amazon one day. I had totally forgotten they made these. My husband loves to make cakes from scratch and I love them, but my least favorite thing is sifting the powdered sugar while he mixes. With this he can mix while he adds the sugar himself. It works great and saves time. The only negative is it does get a bit tiresome after a few minutes, but it's still much better than the crank kind.

Very sturdy

This is a nice sifter cup, small, which is what I wanted and very sturdy. I purchase I different one first that I has to return it because it was thin metal and lost shape during shipped (it was mailed in a padded mailer, not a box) But this smaller one can't lose it shape as it is a thicker metal.

Durable compact easy to use sifter

The one cup sifter I had used for years finally broke two years ago. I was reluctant to purchase this one at first because of no recent good reviews. However I have now been using this sifter on at least a weekly basis (and more often during the holiday baking seasons) for 18 months and it is still good as new. As advertised it can easily be operated with one hand and it can conveniently be stored in my flour container between uses. Definitely a good value.

It’s the best, EXCEPT…

Perfect for small sifting. The only headache is the manufacturer’s sticker. To get it to come off is a challenge!

Good enough for price

The other ones on amazon are so expensive I refuse to buy them. I use this to sift almond flour and icing sugar, and some of it gets lodged in the mesh when you use the hand crack (the little plate inside that does the sifting presses the flour/sugar against the mesh) plus it hurts because you need to use another forefinger to steady it on the outside (the edgy part) so it pulls smoothly instead of getting stuck. SO INSTEAD I just hit it like a normal strainer/sift and it works great! The container shape means no flour gets pushed out the sides i.e I can hit harder, and the size means it all goes into the bowl and not all over the counter which was my main issue anyway.

Qualité médiocre

J'ai commandé 2 tasses à tamiser. dans la même commande. Une était toute bosselée et l'autre la tige était croche et plus courte que la première. À l'intérieur le cercle fonctionne mal il laisse un espace où la farine s'entasse et ne fonctionne plus on doit remettre la farine et recommencer, après deux ou trois coups on recommence le même manège. Je n'ai pas retourné la marchandise car nous avions essayer et retaper celle qui était bosselée mais je suis déçue. C'est un 20$ mal utilisé et gaspillé.

Gluey mess - would not purchase again.

It seems like a decent product. I bought it for my daughter and she was excited as she thought it was a fancy flower sifter. I am disappointed that the tag left a big gluey mess as I now have to find something to remove the glue. It is go bad that normal scrubbing with soap and water would not remove it. Please find another way to tag your products! I am also worried that I am seeing rust on the bottom all ready. I would not purchase this product again.

Poor quality - very dissatisfied

I bought 3, one for myself and intended to give the other two as gifts but I was so displeased with the product!! On only one when you squeeze the handle, does it move smoothly but there is such a huge gap at the bottom of the plate that I am almost faster shaking the sifter than squeezing it normally. The other two have bent pieces that don’t allow you to squeeze the handle the full length and is choppy.
