Good net for backyard

The net was easy to assemble, even though it came missing a small piece when securing it to the grass (I improvised a way to make it work). The net itself is good quality but it’s so short!! I was expecting it to be a bit longer in height but it’s about half the height of a regular volleyball net. I guess it works well for kids to play, just a bit surprised it was that short. Overall I’d recommend for the ease of putting it up and quality of the product.

Exactly as pictured. Easy set up and great fun! PLUS when we took it down everything fit in the bag provided which alone is a miracle. Very happy with this!

Tiny net!

So disappointed in this set (family set). The net is only 1.5 ft. tall from top to bottom, it is laughable looking. Also beware, this set is built for mens regulation, it is 7'8" tall and the net starts at the very top of the pole height(it is not adjustable like some other sets). For a family set this is not family friendly. I have 2 teenage kids and this set is just plain useless. We range in height from 5'4" to 5'11". The poles come in 3 pieces, they are not sturdy, in fact they flex alot!! The only good thing is the 10' net length, that is family friendly/back yard friendly. We 1st bought the professional set and that I'd a 30' net...not backyard friendly(but it is a very nice set, and the net height from top to bottom is just what you expect for a volleyball net). I would like to return this, but this would b my 3rd return. 1st purchase we received a projector screen instead of professional volleyball set. 2nd one, we found out that the 30' professional volleyball set is not backyard friendly( and we have acres of land). We ordered this family set, still disappointed but dont want to go through the hassle of returning for $20(I bought an open box deal). It's a whole ordeal going to the ups store to do a return.

You get what you pay for

The titles says it comes with a carry bag, mine However didn’t . It’s not the most sturdy but it can in clutch for my daughters 4th/5th volleyball team to practice outside.

Professional version not so much!

I purchased the professional version since it came with the 1 1/4 steel poles and the 30ft wide net. Sadly the net is still vertically only 2ft not the 3.2 ft of a true volleyball net. This makes the expensive professional set look cheap. I haven't tried the ball yet but again it is not up to the professional standard I expected. As for the installation i was disappointed to find that this set did not come with ground spikes for the poles. The bottom of the poles just have cheap plastic caps and provide no bearing resistance to the ground. This makes standing the net up almost impossible without 3 or 4 people. I purchased some steel umbrella spikes to stick in the ground to ease install. So basically if I spend 50 dollars on umbrella spikes and another 50 for a regulation net I will have what i expected to get with this Franklin professional set.

It broke after 1 use. Very poor quality. Used it for 30 min, and one of the plastic poles broke/snapped.

WORTH IT!!!

POLES - skinny poles but rock hard as it is steel - comes with a score counter which is useless - 6 separate pole parts, 3 on each side - the plain one goes first, the one with number go in the middle and the one with the hooks go at the top NET - the net is a lot longer than you think - the net is durable - the net has open pockets at the end of each side so you can put the poles through, the net has a mini hole so you can hook it to the pole BALL AND PUMP - ball comes deflated - comes with pump to inflate it - air pump takes a long time to pump the ball - the pump does come with a needle, you can find it under the pump, there will be a tab you can open and find the needle. - after the ball is inflated, it’s not the best ball to use SET UP - the setup is very very hard - the setup will take longer than how fast you think you can set it up - after you learn the process, it will be easy to setup the next time REMINDERS!!!! - the boundary takes forever to untangle!! - you may feel like you are missing ropes to hold the net, the longer rope to hold the net.... you hook the knot to the pole hook and take the single rope and use half on the left side and half on the right side

Poor design, unable to adjust net height & tightness

The net does not stay taut nor has the capacity to adjust the height of the net. Poles and ropes are flimsy. Would not recommend this product, poorly designed. I have to return it now and pay for shipping too :( save yourself the time and buy another net in-store (so you don't have to pay for shipping if you need to return it!)

I wish the net itself was a little bit bigger and the polls a little sturdier but for the price it is great.
