Could use more fitting lids
Nice set for the price. Easy to clean and dry with no streaks or water spots. They send two of the same large lid, which is a bit strange. So, you do not get a lid to fit the smaller of the saute pans, which is the one I expect to use the most often as I am only cooking for one person. That means I can't even use the steamer in that size pan!! Why they give two of the largest lids is beyond me. I would have given four stars if there were enough lids to fit every pan.

These heat fast and evenly. I was surprised how easily they clean, stuck on needs just a quick soak, if that. I highly recommend this set.

Great quality
I noticed I had to keep replacing my nonstick pans every year but not my couple stainless steel pots. So I decided to get these. You do need to know how to cook with these or everything will stick! My husband is still getting the hang of it but I am fine. Butter and low heat are your friend. You do not need a high heat with these. If you do it will stick. These are probably not good for someone who is being healthy and not using oil or butter as with these you pretty much need to.

GREAT INDUCTION COOKWARE
I am totally fed up with non-stick cookware. What I have found is that if you use only the amount of heat necessary to do the job, stainless is better than non-stick; and, with the advent of this stainless, which is a trial for me, I have determined that I can retire my non-stick. The secret is to use blue non-scratching sponges and to keep the stainless shiny. Use Amazon silicone brushes to spread the butter or oil and keep the heat as low as possible. I have two induction plates on top of my smooth top stove and I never use the electric stove. You do not need to use my setup; I am just very fussy and I love to cook. If you haven't tried induction, give it a shot. I don't think you will ever go back to plain old electric top stoves. Amazon has a bunch of good induction plates.

A Complete Cookware Set, with Premium Stainless Steel Quality
Can you use this set as a mirror? Yes I bet you can! It really has a mirror finish. Set Components: This cookware set is made of 15 items: spaghetti server, ladle spoon, normal spoon, slotted spoon and turner. There are two saucepans, one of them with a lid, and a steamer with lid as well. The set also includes 2 pans, one of them with a lid and finally a stockpot. All items are stainless steel and lids are made of glass and stainless steel. Build: The stainless steel is always a very convenient option for cookware. It is a sturdy material and with good manufacturing it might yield mirror finish sets, as it is the case for this set which has very shiny and bright reflection that makes the items look premium. All items feel heavy compared to their equivalents in my kitchen, especially spoons and ladle as my current ones are made of plastic. While the stainless steel ones are definitely sturdier and more durable, they are also heavy as my girlfriend complained. Volumes and Usefulness: All items except the large stockpot are useful for me. The variety of volumes and dimensions adds versatility in my kitchen and even enables me to cook different things at the same time (I didn't have many items in the past and sometimes I wait for something to cook to use the appliance for something else). The stockpot is just too big for me, I wouldn't be using it much as I don't have a big family. I wish there was a smaller stockpot that is between the current big stockpot and the saucepans, it would have added more variety. No complaints though, as this is already more than enough for my daily needs. I cook everyday and using a premium set like this would definitely make it more enjoyable. This set would require constant usage for me to provide a final verdict. For that reason I will make sure to update the review after some time.

Low Quality / Pitting / Discolouration
Pros: They look sleek and modern. Low cost for a stainless steel set. Cons: Very low quality material. Permanently discoloured and pitting in the inside after only a few months of use. I am very concerned about the quality of the material (claiming to be stainless steel) used and if these are even healthy/safe to continue using or not - I have used other stainless steel cookware before that lasted 10-20 years with no pitting or discolouration; stainless steel used for only a few months should not be pitting/discolouring. I am concerned about consuming heavy metals/leaching if I continue using these.

Don’t let the ‘basics’ in AmazonBasics fool you!
This Cookware set by AmazonBasics includes everything you will need to refurbish or start up your kitchen, wether this be at home or in a restaurant. This stainless steel 15-piece set offers exceptional value for such high quality and capacity! I have been using these cookware for the past 2 weeks and I couldn’t be happier! The stainless steel pots and pans cooks my food easily, equally and doesn’t cause my food to stick. The pots and pans are of high quality and durability, where they are also very easy to clean. They are elegant and match the aesthetics of my kitchen, and creates a very premium look thanks to its highly reflective, metallic surfaces. The included lids for these pots/pans, they are made with tempered glass and the stainless steel handle doesn’t get hot easily, which adds an important health and safety positive, whilst making the product easy to cook with. Furthermore, these pots and pans are relatively lightweight, thus makes bringing the food easier to carry from the kitchen to the living room, and allows this cookware set be appropriate for the elderly/children cook with. The utensils are substantial and offer a lot of versatility for use, from serving spaghetti to pouring soup into a bowl. They offer a ergonomically friendly handle that is comfortable to hold thanks to it being thick and lightweight. They match the elegant aesthetics of the pots and pans. I'm delighted with the quality of this pan set. Although this is the AmazonBasics range, there's a premium feel to the pans. They have a good weight, sturdy base with fast heat transfer. Comfy handles and lids that fit snuggly. The utensils are excellent. Everything washes fine in the dishwasher. The only thing that would enhance the set is a small milk pan. I already have one so not an issue for me, but if you're buying this as a starter set then it may be worth bearing in mind. There are other matching pans in the AmazonBasics range, so it's good to be able to supplement this set with extras to suit your kitchen too.
