Quality

I haven't used the set for very long, however; I certainly like the set's quality and ease of cleaning. I believe I'll be using the cookware for a long time. Something missing is an extra handle. I often cook with three different pots at one time and only two handles is what the set includes. Also, the nesting aspect of the set is a feature I really like as I have limited space. So, all in all, I highly recommend.

A Near Perfect Cookware Set

I was a little concerned about making this purchase after reading the reviews. But I think the Magma brand is solid, so I thought I'd take a chance. It helped too reading the response from the company about asking one buyer call them to explore the problems they were having. We bought this cookware set for use in a new motor coach we were scheduled to take delivery of in June. I had the cookware shipped to a friend for us to retrieve it from. For some reason, when I first tried the cookware it did not work. The induction cook-top would time-out quickly after initializing. Needless to say I was quite disappointed. Since this was a new coach, I considered that there was a possibility that there was something wrong with the cook-top, so I bought a couple of induction pans to get us home, these worked right out of the box. We put the cook ware back in the box and concentrated on the long drive home, figuring that I would initiate a return later. I decided to reach out to Magma and give them an opportunity to address the problem. It didn't take long to get a phone call response to my email but I was traveling and couldn't chat when the rep called. I agreed to call back later that afternoon, but before I did I decided to give the cookware one more chance and sure enough the second attempt was successful! I have no idea what the problem was. We've had a chance to use it now and I believe the product is deserving of a five-star rating. It's well constructed and the fit and finish is excellent. The detachable handles fit securely and I've never had a sense that they would come loose. One nice feature is that the cookware has a drip free edge. The only thing I would ding the product on is the lid handles need a pot holder when lifting. I'm going to see if I can find some sort of silicone piece that would fit over the metal knob. Otherwise a screw on handle made with a less conductive material would be better than a stamped lid, IMHO. The primary goal of having a nice set of nesting, non-stick cookware has been met. Great customer support from the company. Update - October 2016 With a few months use behind us, I'm happy to report that we're still quite pleased with this product. The initial problems we had were associated with the True Induction cook-top, not the cookware. As it turns out we've had to reset the breaker switch for the cook-top a few times to re-initialize it; a minor inconvenience. I did update each lid with Le Creuset Signature Phenolic Large Knobs (purchased here on Amazon). Swapping these out required no tools or mods. Simply unscrew the stock knobs and screw the phenolic knobs on, it's that simple. The Le Creuset phenolic knobs provide a more positive grip and don't conduct heat as readily.

Impressed with Quality

I needed a cookware set for our small camper, so, the less room it took up, the better. These pots and pans are perfect!! They have a good weight and completely stack for storing. I was expecting the thin metal that comes with most camping cookware, but was pleasantly surprised with the quality. Could not be more perfect!!! Now I can stop borrowing from my home cookware set!

Amazing - compact for small space, cooks and cleans for a large life!

I love this set of pots! I have an induction stove top. I did purchase other steel pans and very expensive per pan. Those pans took up all my cabinet space in my small kitchen. They were very heavy, hard to clean, you had to season them, blah blah blah. I decided to try something different. The MAGMA pans are much lighter weight and easier to move from stove to counter. I can keep the most used one out and stack pack the others for space saving. They are easy to get out and to take apart and put together! They cook very well and evenly! They clean up so fast and so easy. It's like a rinse and a wipe with the dish cloth and another rinse and I'm done! I cannot believe how easy these pans are to work with! I've only had them a couple months but so far they hold up very well. They seem to be very sturdy. My only criticism is they only come with two handles. I have a couple times need to use 3 pots and could have used another handle. They should come with a handle for each pot in my opinion. However, in general two is enough most of the time and they are easy to switch out... even if the pan is on the stove. I would buy these again and I wish I had found and purchased these in the beginning!!

Love these pans

I love these pans. How easy they are clean up, which makes a difference with limit water camping. The nestling is very convenience in an RV. The handles hook in and are study. Watch the pricing, they seem to go on sale quite often. Which can bring down the price substantially. Wish someone who have told me.

Quality product The pots and pans are definitely one of the best quality kitchen products that I have ever bought. Magna makes all kinds of stuff. They have never let me down. Time will tell with the magna pots I give them a five star!

A must for tiny home living

Recently moved into a travel trailer and decided to pick this set up. My old pots and pans were in need of replacing and I knew I was needing space saving options, so decided to give these a try. So glad I did. These things are great, not sure if it's because it's been about 20 years since I got new pots and pans, but the non stick coating on these things is impressive. They have a good weight to them, and I found them comparable to some of the higher end sets currently on the market. Am loving the nesting ability of this set. Can't see myself going back to regular pots and pans (with the handles attached) after this. Even in full size kitchens there's never enough cabinet space, so these will really help

Excellent product

Outstanding quality and uses very little room in our camper be careful installing the bungee cord. Take note how it goes on when you take it off. Also bought extra handle, travel storage bag, omelette bowl, strainer, and protection pads. Totally worth the investment in this high quality set

Quality product, good for all cooking surfaces

Admittedly, it took me a long time to decide to buy these but I'm glad I did. I needed them for my camper van which has both a propane and induction stove and this set works on both. They are heavy but most good cookware is. Food cooks evenly and clean up is a breeze. The removable handles are easy to put on and off. They are expensive but if you have limited space, like in an RV, these will serve you well and last a lifetime.
