really nice

I had a set like this a few years ago,not from this company,I loved them and was truly heartbroken when I broke them. I was so excited to find these on amazon ! I ordered them and they are hanging in a cluster in one of my windows year round. My only disapointment in the color changing, it seems to only shine blue and green with an occasional red popping in. It's still pretty but lacks the rainbow effect I had with my original set.

Very cool lights, shame I had to send one set back.

I purchased two sets of these lights under different orders. The first set to arrive had a defective ball light where one light would not stay on all the time. There was no problem to return the product and I simply ordered another set that works fine. The other set I originally ordered also worked fine. They are very cool and I look forward to seeing them on my Christmas tree nearer the holidays. I gave 4 stars because of the defective set, especially since right on the box they claim they are all tested before they leave the factory! I will update this review after the holidays and the lights have been used daily.

Beautiful color changing lighted ornaments for decorating

The picture of the product doesn't quite do these justice, when they are off they look like large pearlescent ornaments, but they have a nice glow through a series of colors when turned on. I had a few strings of smaller color changing lights from Kurt S Adler and was looking for more when I saw these and I'm glad I gave them a shot. The only downsides is there are so few (six) on each strand, and each strand needs a dedicated plug. The good news is there is plenty of cord between the ornaments to space them out, and I had no problem plugging my three sets into a power strip (they don't heat up or draw a lot of power). I've attached pictures of three sets on a seven foot tree (with four strings of smaller bulb lights on the tree as well).

Beautiful ornaments/lights. Beware, only 6 per set and no daisy-chaining...

These really are beautiful lights/ornaments. We saw them at a friend's house, and through an hour of searching, I was able to figure out what they were called so that we could order some of them. They are really, really pretty. Beautiful, smoky glow to them. As stated before by another reviewer, there are two knocks against them: - they don't connect together, meaning they each require their own AC converter. You cannot daisy chain them in any fashion. So if you need 3 strands, that's 3 plugs you need to find nearby. - there are only 6 in a strand. A strand of 12 definitely needs to be offered.

Beautiful large and delicate lights

The media could not be loaded. The video shows a 7.5 foot tree with three sets of these lights (I didn’t put much at the backside). I love these lights . They are so pretty. The only downside is they are very delicate. A heavy ornament swung into a light bauble when someone shook the tree a bit and it cracked one of them . I put tape over the hole and you can’t spot it. These lights are one of my favorite things I’ve ever bought myself. It was the highlight of my Christmas this year .

I think I'm going to buy these for, like, everybody I know

This is a great, long lasting set of bulbs. A friend of mine bought several sets for use in a DJ rig (without the bulbs), and they have lasted for years. He's had a string of them on a palm tree running for the last year solid. The colors cycle slowly from one color to the next at semi-random times, so each bulb could be a different color. The end result is a very striking and dynamic look. The diffusing bulbs come off very easily if you want bare LEDs for some reason. This listing does a disservice by photoshopping out the green electrical wire between the bulbs. If you thought they were completely separate bulbs, you're going to be disappointed! But I am here to tell you color-changey LEDs eat a lot of power.

Happy with our purchase

I saw these amazing lights at a local Christmas shop but they were very expensive so I decided to look for them on line. Found them on Amazon and decided to bite the bullet and purchased four sets at a much more reasonable price but still expensive. Last week we put them on out tree and were delighted with our purchase. They are so fun! Have you been mesmerized by watching a fire glow well these lights share the same effect. We put our white lights on the tree then added the lights as you would Christmas balls towards the ends of the branches. The only negative about these lights is that you can't connect each string together but knowing this prior to our purchase didn't deter our decision to buy. They look terrific!!

Eye-Popping

Found these beauties at the Chicago Contemporary Art Gallery. These are the most eye-popping bulbs you could ever put on a Christmas tree. They are a little 'spendy' but so worth it. I got three strings so ($120.00) but made my tree so beautiful. If you don't want to spend the money on decorating a full tree get one string for ($40) and put them in a tray or basket and put on table or string in window also a wonderful Holiday decoration.
