This Is A Very Cool "Toy"
I bought these for my 3 year old grand son knowing some of the projects would be too difficult for him, BUT, he does really, really love this "toy". I play along with him to help build some of the things, but he also likes to just sit at the table and build and play with what ever he comes up with. The magnets are strong and they are inside the pieces so they don't stick out, which makes them safe. Some of the other brands have the magnets on the outside which to me is a safety hazard. The plastic is also very strong and durable. These are expensive but worth the money

Love this product
Love love this product. My daughter loves the vibrant colors and keeps her entertained taking them apart and them snapping together if near each other. She seems to be more entertained with the triangles more than the squares!!-haha

Magformers are the best! Get several sets
Magformers are a great especially for school-age children. I have several different sets. I work as a counselor in a public school and all the kids love them. This is a very basic set - so I strongly recommend buying this set only to add to an existing collection. I made my original purchases from QVC. The only thing lacking in the QVC sets were the Idea booklet that shows many construction ideas. I wanted to add some more basic pieces to my larger QVC set, so this was perfect for me. The squares and triangles are used the most. It's a fun activity for all ages - even adults. Magformers aren't as widely known about as Legos, and it's a different activity than Legos --but if you are looking for a good gift for a child, I strongly suggest considering Magformers. ***Please note that I do not recommend this small basic set for a gift by itself; buy this set in addition to a bigger set. There are many choices available. It may seem a bit expensive, but it's really a great value when you see how much fun you will have.

amazing toy for babies and older---but might need more pieces
We were recently visiting my best friend when we saw baby had these. They were such a hit with my 4 year old that we bought this 14 piece set. It's very rare for my little ball of energy to sit and do anything for very long but these do keep his attention better than other toys. We also take them to restaurants and in the car to keep him entertained. I gave it 4 starts b/c I feel like we might have to buy more. You can't really build much with just the 14 pieces.... I think it depends on the age of the child. My friend just had the pack of 6 and that was fine for her less than 2 year old. I say if you have a 3 year old or up to go ahead and get the pack with more pieces.

Had it for over a year and they're still sticking!!
My kids loved this set!! It's definitely durable. My kids have had it over a year now and the magnets are still sticking. I got these after seeing how well my son took to them in preschool. And now that my son is in kindergarten and my youngest is in preschool, they both get to use them with no problem. Just wish for the amount of money you spend on it, that more came in the package however, I ordered mine while they were on sale so I got a really great deal for the amount I received. Quality is great! Purpose is great! Ordering more very soon!

Good quality toy
My four year old loves these toys. Needs some help figuring them out, but has fun and gets to be really creative with these. I look forward to adding the additional cranks to his set in the future. He has two sets now and they are so durrable. You get what you pay for with this brand.

Love the Magnetic tiles.
The concept comes with these magnetic tiles to make a 4 dimensional presentation is absolutely stunning. Magnetic tiles is limited in numbers so does the possibilities but worth my money. This give enough explanation to little mind as if they can understand simple mechanisms of joining things to build something out of nothing. Easy to be handle by toddler and join to make presentation. This toy not only strength the hand who handle these tiles but also the mind to concentrate and picture how does the final project looks like. Pictures at the back of the box also give few more possible shapes could be made and easy work without any adult supervison . Recommend to all kids including adults who like to engage with simple activity. .

Worth the price
We keep the pieces on the fridge as an appropriate option for our toddler to play with vs. Our regular fridge magnets. The magnets are strong and very high quality so I dont have to worry about them breaking apart and becoming dangerous. My son loves to build things, and we work on our shapes and colours using these. I was reluctant to spend the money, however it's proven to be worth the price.
