My Favorite!
I needed some dishes for my new apartment and found these on Amazon. I opened the box they were in and they were a lot bigger than I needed. So I went back and ordered the salad plates. So these big plates only get used from time to time, but I absolutely love this brand. They are heavy for plates, but extremely beautiful. I've started getting rid of bowls and replacing them with this brand

Sturdy and Cool
I like this set of plates so much that I bought two sets. They are stylish and durable. We use the salad plates for dinner and lunch. They show off the food on them and are perfect for portion control.

Small Serving Dishes or Large Portions with Sauce/Liquid
I bought these pasta bowls to use as small serving bowls with the rest of my 1815 Collection dishes, and they are perfect for that. They are each 2" high with flared sides; the diameter at the top is 9" while the diameter of the bottom is a little over 6". Four cups of liquid comes to about 1/2" from the rim. I use mine for mostly vegetables and smaller side dishes. When it's just the two of us, they usually fit all of food as serving dishes. Certainly, though, you can use them as intended for individual pasta servings to keep sauce and pasta contained. The colors in my set are mostly lighter than the product photo. The brightest color in mine is a tangerine orange, but I also have a light Creamsicle-style orange, a lavender,and a mid-intensity aqua. They match my other 1815 dinner plates, salad plates, and tapas plates, but have more intense color than my serving bowls. Regardless, they all match in a fun, colorful way with Royal Doulton quality. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Beautiful range, modern classic!
This range is beautiful. I’m British and wanted this British product it for our wedding but it wasn’t practical to bring it back to the States from the UK. We were (well, probably me more than hubs) very happy to find it available at a great price here! It is a modern classic and I hope it’ll be available for a long time to come so we can keep adding and replace anything if needed. But so far so good, it’s sturdy, good dimensions and gorgeous colours.

I like these mugs.
This is the first time I am writing a review for an Amazon purchase. Yes, as some of the reviewers have commented, the colors are of a lighter shade than what the picture suggests. Yet, I like the mugs - there is a very soft and subtly warm touch to these mugs. The handles offer a good grip. I guess one of the first things that led to my positive impression was the packaging - excellent! Just served to say that delicate mugs lay within - handle with love! Having said that, two minor flaws caught my eye - at the bottom of the blue mug, there was a spot where the surface did not feel smooth (not quite a noticeable chip). Second, the color on the yellow mug strayed just a smidge on the inside near the rim. All in all, I am a happy customer! :)

Lightweight & Pastel
I've been looking for a stylish dinnerware collection that's not as delicate as fine bone china, but not as heavy as some of the stoneware I've owned, and this set fits the bill! I find it to be fairly lightweight. It's much more pastel than the stock photos provided show, but the collection is beautiful! The colors are rich and solid, just not what I would call "bright". I'm so happy I bought this set! I didn't really realize just how large these dinner plates are- honestly, I probably could've gotten away with just buying the salad plates to use as dinner plates. Still, they're lovely and it's nice to have the set! I've pictured them with the pasta bowls so you can see the size and how the set matches perfectly. Love them!

big and heavy but oh so pretty
I bought these plates to match the rest of the dishes I have - we'd been using salad plates as dinner plates and that was generally fine. So these seem huge! They are heavy - I bought 12 so when I take clean ones out of the dishwasher and put them on the bottom of the stack it's hard to hold 6-10 of these plates with one hand. I love how each one is just a little bit different. We often get compliments on our table settings!

Very nice bowls—thin and light
Nice looking, perfect size for breakfast like oatmeal, or soup, or a bowl of pasta, etc. They are thin, and I am not very delicate with things, so I am a little extra careful with handling them. So far no problems

Exceeds expectations. Big enough for Raman!
So pretty, lovely packaging is ideal for gifting, and perfect for large soups and raman. Very large bowls could also be used to serve. I bought it bc we eat lots of bowl dinners, including soups. I liked it so much I bought 3 more and gifted 2 away!

Best plates ever
We got these for our wedding eight years ago and one broke recently (my child dropped it). I can't believe we've used these for eight years as our main plates and only one has broken despite having threr children who have used them since they were fully weaned! They have got some knife marks on now as most plates develop over time, but they still look smashing when we host a dinner party and always get compliments. I think the pattern is classic and timeless too. I will say though that I've had 16 mugs and only have two left so either the plates are particularly durable or I'm just cack handed with mugs! Now I buy cheaper mugs :)

Delighted I purchased these mugs to compliment our 1815 crockery. Great quality and large but not too large size. Great prize at Amazon too at £24 so was a no-brainer.
