Ratcheting mechanism snapped on very first use, to where it turns freely now without any ratcheting sound at all as if the "dogs" inside of the ratchet head sheared clean off on the very first use about 2 momth after I purchased these, so of course I couldn't return them for a replacement so I have no idea if I just got a bad batch because they actually are polished beautifully but I noticed right away upon opening the package that there were quite a few noticeable spots on each wrench where the polishing was skipped over in the curves and dips (much harder and time consuming to get into correctly) while some of the smaller sizes were polished/finished immaculately... Little things like that to me scream- QUALITY CONTROL IS LAcKING SEVERELY when it cokes to tools, and I really wanted this set to be even halfway durable when I finally went to use them from reading all the other reviews here, but nahhh of course that's never the case with me. ???????? I'm not positive which of the size wrenches it was that this happened with exactly but it was the size almost every bolt underneath my caddilac's hood all seem to be so 11mm or maybe 12mm? Not sure like I said, but I was deeply saddened when I felt it snap before I could even get 60ft/lbs of muscle grease (not brute strength or leveraged weight) behind it. Long story short I couldn't get a replacement because these only have a 14 or 30 day return policy if you look closely and amazon had no choice but to refund me my money for the set, and usually I would be happy about that but not in this case. I really loved this set and how nice they looked regaurdless of those few rough spots missed here and there,, the polishing they do for this is really the highest quality, and probably the highest production cost behind these things.. ultimately used my refund for a gear wrench set which was only an 8 or 10 piece, but was on sale at the time for only $9 more than than paid for this set, and then the 21 piece set was only $89 if I'm not mistaken.. Moral of my story- just get the smaller name brand gear wrench, ect. set for the same money even if it's half as many wrenches, or at least find an off brand set that offers free returns/replacements for 90 days bare minimum. I never tried to use the warranty with these but since Amazon immidiately refunded me for these I suspect that there isn't one/it isn't very useful if so. *much of this is review is based off of my 1 bad experience and my personal feelings & opinions of this item in a test batch of 1... which I feel was assembled poorly that day in the factory by a 10 year old who's mind was elsewhere that day and just wanted to get out of there and find some fresh water ????????♂️ based on other reviews these things hold up pretty great for the most part is what it looks like, and if they would have made it past that 1 little job. I WOULD'VE RATED THESE 5 STARS INDEFINITELY FOR THE PRICE. I feel this was a rare case of "just my luck" so I would take this review with a grain of salt due to these actual facts lol* Also. If you do buy these, just be sure you plan to thoroughly lut them through their paces before the return period is up, because looking back if I would have done this, I could've got a replacement and been ompletely shocked with the durability of them from a completely seperate batch/assembly line. That's definitely where I messed up, clearly just a small quality control issue based on the raving reviews from 80% of you guys lol ????????♂️ good luck but from now on I learned my lesson. When it comes to weathering ANYTHING - It's only lifetime warranty products for this guy from here on no matter the price difference. If you pay attention and are patient you can catch them on sale or even clearance for even less than this set costs once every 6 months or so ???? *11/10/2022 update* after this one defective wrench left a bad taste in my mouth about this set as a whole, it made me not even want to go through to hassle of carrying the set in my pack out. Recently I found myself Ina very particular spot that a normal box end just could get in and the Flex head set I later purchased was just too wobly to function for as well...this was one of the largest 3 sizes in the set that I ultimately wound up digging up (thinking I was surely going to bust my hand open against the rusty exhaust headers on the vehicle i was working on when the dogs snapped on the big boy) and ultimately, because of my low expectations of this set from one of the smaller sizes as I gave you guys a whole storyline about above - I was utterly impressed with whatever size I was using in this occasion... when it didn't snap in my hand after putting well over 100lbs of handt/normal use style torque behind it, I then proceeded to to use one a couple sizes down with a 4' cheater bar/iron pipe the next day for a rusty stubborn bolt that my 1/2 milwaukee fuel m18 couldnt even break free (this is a very rare situation since the thing has over 600ftlbs of breakaway torque) I believe it was a 14mm I'm not mistaken, and I purposely used the ratcheting end to thouroughly abuse the ratcheting mechanism, being extremely careful not to hurt myself because I absolutely knew I was going to break this wrench in some way.... nope. That one that I was planning to use as a sacrificial piece and tossing like the original one that had sheared with just hand use, was able to not only break that bolt free with a 3-4 pipe on it, but lives on to this day after another 3 identical uses that day that my milwaukee impact couldn't break free with a 10-15 second slamming & a fresh xc5.0 battery on it. These wrenches are a-ok in my book after that lol. But still only 2 stars, because of the simple fact that i cant keep it in my box due to the set missing the couple smaller ones that broke, and also because to me at thia point of my life, these wrenches could be the best ones i own z but without that lifetime warranty that practically all name brand hand tools carry? I had no business spending more than mylaybe $20 on the set to begin with after seeing the 15 days return policy, when the exact same set from gearwrench was $89 instead of the $39 I paid for these.to put it plain & simple - if this set even had a 1 year warranty on it that I woildve been able to actually use when that initial size broke? 5 star item. No doubt about it. But without even so much as a return policy in place (idc 14 days is not a return policy when it comes to tools that they know 90% of people won't ever use every peice in the set within that time span) this is just a 2 star item in my book. Alllll of that being said - if you ever catch this set on sale for 29.99 or 20-something dollars or less? At that point you really don't have anything to lose and have yourself a great looking set of ratcheting wrenches that you can break and abuse without getting mad about it because your already expecting them to break from the beginning. Just be careful when using them obviously, and dont bust your hand when they do snap loose lol its pretty crazy how different you treat & view different tools depending on what amount of momey youve got invested in them. Commmon sense says "im going to baby the stuff i know has no warrantyz and beat on the stuff thats gully covered for life because thats what i paid for!"... butnin reality ive realized that its the exact opposite for most people i run across including myself. Lol when you are fully okay with possibly shearing a wrenchnin two, and fully expect it to break under pressure regaurdless of the brand - no warranty, throw away cheap hand tools are the only tools you want to use, because even though lifetime warranties are awesome and effective, we all know its just a hastle to use lol so that warranty is really just a marketing mind game in most situations when your deciding which tool you want to put to the limits/straight up abuse in a way it was never designed to be used today.... you'd never in a m
