comfortable - durable

Comfortable Saddle

Got this for my wife who is petite and in good physical condition and ideal weight . She rides on a regular basis, 3-4 times a week 8-10 miles each time. She says this saddle is very comfortable and fits well. It was easy to install. A good purchase and excellent value.

Decent gel saddle

It will be softer than the stock saddle, but squeaks a lot more than a similar saddle on another one of our bikes.

Really comfortable!

It is really comfortable! And top quality! I wouldn’t recommend getting the moderate one for mountain biking as is still really bulky! But for cruising or any road bike I think I’d be ideal! I returned it because of the huge size so for mountain biking I would advise try the more athletic and slim one!

Comfortable

This is a very comfortable saddle. I especially needed to find a saddle shape so that I have no pressure on my tail bone. This is one of the most comfortable saddles I've owned. I have tried 6 saddles before I found this one. Everyone's shape is different. Measure your sit bones. Mine are 14" (5.5cm).

The most comfortable bike seat out there bar none!

I wanted a bike seat that was not a comfort seat but still was comfortable if you can understand that. I just wanted the seat not to be wide like a comfort seat, but still look generally like a road bike seat. I had read many good reviews about the men's moderate bicycle seat, and decided to try it. Mind you, I didn't have very good expectations, because this will be about the 7th bicycle seat I have tried! However, I was surprised when I first installed the seat, seeing how soft it was yet rigid looking, so naturally, I couldn't wait until I got to try it! The next day, I did just that, and was very happy at the result! I live in very mountainous terrain and have many bumpy roads around where I live, so I decided to take a long ride with this saddle in order to give it a proper 'breaking in' period. This is the only saddle I have ever had that I almost felt like it wasn't even there! It was that comfortable! I used to review everything, but now I only review things that impress me. This seat does just that! My girlfriend is having a problem with her seat not being comfortable enough, so I'm going to get her the comfort version of this saddle!

Great Product with design flaws

After trying few others, this is the best in comfort. But.... the seat has a product sticker on the right side and rubs on the inner thigh. Definitely a design flaw. It is glued to the seat, trying to peal it may damage the skin of the seat and result in a tear.

By far the most comfortable saddle I've used!

I've tried too many bike seats (gel & memory foam), and countless seat coverts... but never found anything that was comfortable for long rides (50-100 miles). I ride a road bike, but I needed to find something that had a bit wider saddle without being too wide. I figured that this one was worth a shot... I know the cycling purists will not like this saddle on a road bike, but it's my body, and I'm tired of riding in pain that it just made me to not want to ride. The price was very attractive, and with free returns I figured this was a safe option to by. The seat is roughly 1" wider than the Terry Bicycles (LIBERATOR X ELITE ) which I purchased last year -- which I liked, but this year I could not ride over 20 miles without tons of pain. I completed 30 miles today, and it was comfy the whole ride. I could've done a longer ride -- but I was hungry (LOL). Highly recommend this saddle

This saddle is a coupl of centimetres wider than the one it is replacing and it's so comfortable with the Royalgel and it still looks good on my mountain bike, the saddle has a bit of give in it but not to much and takes my 96 kilo's body weight with no problems, the material seems to be of a good quality and the colour black will go with any bike. This is a good saddle for the price and would recommend it. I would ignore the following review below as they dont even know how to fit a saddle and angle the seat up or down, (2.0 out of 5 starsNo more Selle Royal. By Amazon Customer on 18 Jun. 2016 Verified Purchase The saddle is leaning all to much forward. Not even a saddle on a racing bicycle is leaning this much. Replaced my Brooks B17

Never bought into how comfortable Brooks saddles were. So glad I went for this saddle. OK it doesn't have the kudos of a Brooks but it is definitely an upgrade. So much so I bought the SR Moderate for my Birdy.
