Wide and comfortable for a toddler!

The seat is very wide, which is Great for an older toddler! I am tired of using a double stroller that is only made for children two years and under... this Seat fits my 2.5 year old well, and with room to spare... I am so glad we can add this seat when the child is too young to sit on the bench which can be uncomfortable for a long period of time. This seat allows her to rest back and enjoy the stroller ride! My three month old can also sit on this attachment seat, but even when it is reclined as far back is it can be, it seems it is not enough for complete comfort- since he does not sit up yet on his own... The front seat would be the ideal choice for a baby under 6 months, but the front of the stroller can be very "busy" for a small baby. His weight "slides down" like he is in a baby carrier, and the straps are keeping him from falling into the basket area!.. I wish the harness was a little more comfortable (wider straps, for example) to support a smaller baby in the back.... The issue occurs with the installation... WOW. I am NOT a weak mother by any means, but you need some serious hand/finger strength to button the closures. For example, you need to press metal buttons together on each side of the seat ( two on each side) to secure the seat on on the stroller... my hands/ fingers throb after pressing these buttons down! There are two more closing mechanisms on the top left/ right of the seat to secure the seat on the stroller, and a strap on the bottom of the seat that click together to also secure the seat to the stroller... I understand this is for safety purposes, but if you wanted to remove the seat in a pinch it would not be ideal. You will need at least a few minutes to attach this seat to the back of the Joovy Caboose... I even had to call the customer service, because the instructions are thorough, but not easy to read. The pictures in the instructions don't even look exactly like what the mechanisms looks like exactly which is confusing...You also have the option of leaving the original strap on the bench (the bench strap from the 5 point harness) which was not indicated on the instructions and not using the button strap that comes with the seat, which is why I decided to call customer service. Don't hesitate to call customer serivce, because the instructions May leave you confused with this multiple step installation process... I will try to upload pictures and write other thoughts I have as soon as I can!

Fit my travel needs without being big.

This was the perfect stroller. I traveled with a 1 year old, 2 year old, and 4 year old. We did not have a car at our destination and walked over 7 miles a day for 10 days. We were in pouring rain one day and all kids rode together. Pros: Lightweight Fits through airport security scanner Easily folds Travels very well on rough sidewalks, grass, & over curbs. Fits 3 little kids Love the canopy and extra cover that extends to cup holder. Solidly made I use bungy cords on the handle to hang items. Backseat is easy to install and fits in the bottom when not used (will fill up the whole space) It's not large or too long. Was easy to mauvere at a market full of people. Dries fast if caught in a rain storm. Storage bin is sufficient but not to easy to get in and out of. Lifting front seat helps. Cons: The hook that keeps it folded has a poor design. I use and little bungy cord. The footrest in front is really skinny and when folded is at a weird angle. I use another bungy cord when folded. The back seat has minimal room if front is laid down. Having the backseat is needed if seats will be reclined. It's tall when folded wouldn't fit in a small trunk. Front tray is hard to remove so older kids can get in and out. (Will be great for under 1) We left it off so older kids could climb in and out. Wish it had a swing open tray like my other strollers. Overall I loved this stroller it was a life saver on our trip and I'm sure many more to come as we are adding a new baby this fall. UPDATE: My car seat fits in the front with the seat in the upright position. My 3 year old sleeps comfortably in the cabouse.

very useful for toddler!!

We are happy with this purchase, my 3 year old uses this seat all the time. When we initially got the joovy stroller - she was excited about the sit and stand part. I was a bit worried that she could jump out and run off though, and the bench did not seem like it would be comfortable for long periods of time. This additional rear seat works great and is comfortable. My daughter has plenty of space to sit, and the rear seat does recline. We generally don't recline the front seat so that she has ample space. If we did recline the front seat fully, she would still have limited space - but probably would pick and pull at her brother because he would be so easily accessible and in her face. My only issue is when using this seat, the child's feet go into the basket - and you have pretty much no usable basket space at all. My daughter can put a sippy cup and a toy or two next to her feet, but I can't put anything there. I solve this by using a mommy hook, and being prepared to not carry much extra stuff with me. This rear seat is removable, but it would take a good 5 minutes to undo it, and then you would not have a place to store it (kinda big for the basket). Plus putting it back on would take another 5-10 minutes. I would not plan to be taking it on and off throughout the day. When my daughter is older and I'm not as worried of her running off or tiring easily (maybe age 4.5-5?), I will just take the seat out and use the bench. Of note - my 3 year old is very tall for her age (>90th percentile) and still sits comfortably in the seat.

Must have Joovy accessory

This is a must for the Joovy caboose stroller! Its a great way to make a double stroller without the ridiculous pricetag. My son fits into it perfectly and comfortably. Space does get a little cramped when I have the carseat in the front spot but obviously you have to sacrifice something when trying to go smaller. The only down fall I find is its kinda a pain to put on...

Great addition to stroller

I installed this extra seat on my stroller so I can bring my two young ones to places. I like my Joovy caboose for its compact size as a double stroller. They kinda cute with two little ones in it. Easy to move around.

Excelente producto! A mi hija le encanto y además ayuda mucho en las salidas. Si se reduce un poco el espacio sobre todo cuando traes un porta bebé en el otro asiento pero al recorrer este asiento adicional hasta atrás es una maravilla

Read before order about your stroller size then order

I really like it but before order u need to check ur stroller because this is good for new model easy to fixed it, I got problem with that it’s my fault, it’s old model size, other wise everything is great perfect, I recommend

Snaps too hard or won't snap together.

The snaps that flip over and make the arm rest are next to impossible to snap together on one side and don't snap together at all on the other. Overall I'm not impressed because of that, otherwise it's exactly as advertised and works for its intended purpose.
