For the money - very nice chair !

I researched and read a lot of reviews before making this choice - without spending hundreds of dollars for a chair. This is great chair for the money - its very supportive, sturdy, moves smoothly and I love that the arms lift up so it can fit under my home office desk. I needed more support than the chair I had - paid for a cheap $60 chair but found this was a mistake - and this one is wonderful. I'm not a small gal, by any stretch and I feel well supported, I fit comfortably in the seat without being squeezed in and i love how the lumbar that makes this chair even more comfortable. I know there's a lot of chairs at a much higher price point, that may be even better - but I really feel I lucked out on this one and that it feels and looks more expensive then it is. Now - my bf put it together for me - and there's a bit of confusion at first on direction or 2 (as its only pics) but otherwise, he had it together within 15-20 min. Very happy !

Great chair

Overall this is a great chair and I’m very happy with this purchase. A lot of reviews I read stated that the holes don’t line up, which is kind of true but it’s not impossible. You have to be patient and it would help if there was another person to help with the arm pieces and back part. I redacted 1 star because of the strong smell and for the time and coordination it took to put the last 3 pieces together. I would definitely buy this again and I highly recommend it.

I looove this chair!

This chair is awesome!! Very stylish and comfortable. The directions were straight forward and all the components were properly labeled foreasy assembly. Even sitting for several hours the seat remains comfortable and the back cushions are plush. So far the off white leather like fabric has been durable and easy to clean.

Buy this chair

I purchased one of these several weeks ago. I put it together without any problems. I really noticed attention to detail and quality of the materials when assembling it. I went back to Amazon saying to myself " if I spent less than $200 on this chair, I'm getting another one." I went back into Amazon and to my surprise it wasn't even $70 that I had paid!! This chair is an incredible deal at this price point, and seems to be made better than office chairs that I have that cost many times more. The white is more like a cream, and that works just fine for me. I also like the fact that the back is not too high. It takes up less visual space in the room. This chair is at a small desk in a bedroom. I do not work at the desk all day so I expect this chair will last for many years.

missing parts and no easy way to get any missing part sent????

Chair was decent quality for the price. I wish one could get the missing dust cap (Part 12 in the assembly instructions). Amazon only returns the entire purchase and sends another. It took a bit to assemble, and I don't want to assemble another one. Googled Olixis and can't find a way to contact the company or even order a part myself. If anyone from Amazon or Olixis reads this review, please respond... Great chair

Female about 5'5" and this chair is so comfortable. I put it together by myself and it didn't take very long. Easy instructions. Just don't tighten the arms to the seat very tight. I had to loosen them to position the back then I tightened them all. An extra hand would have helped but I was able to do it. The chair back is not straight up. I think it would offer a larger person more support. The brown color is very attractive and I like the arms that pull up so it will push under my desk. Looks like a much more expensive chair. I wanted one that is comfortable to relax in because I watch movies on my computer.

Comfort but a little smelly

This chair is very comfy. The chair I had before was pretty but hurt my backend after sitting for a short time. This one has a soft bottom so very comfortable there. I also have a foot rest to elevate my feet a few inches, but even without it, I am not feeling circulation cutting off at the back of my legs. I tend to sit more at a 90 degree angle when working at the computer, so the back support is lacking a bit for me, but sitting back is very comfortable. I could see myself even dozing off if I sat back and just rested! The chair has a pretty strong odor, but hoping that will fade - it is pretty nauseating after sitting here for an hour. This is day one of use. Chair looks great. Very pretty/clean/elegant looking (I have in cream/ivory color). The arms go up so I can slide it under my desk when finished. Arms are comfortably positioned and soft/cushioned for when I sit back from my desk. I'm 5'2 and this chair works great for my height.
