Tight fit for 54 page passport

I bought this to protect my passport and currency/cards from getting wet. I bicycle in other countries and want something that is waterproof and small to fit in my jersey pocket and bike bag. My 54 page passport barely fits inside, but it does fit. I need to curve the passport to insert and remove it. Another 1/4 inch of room in all sleeve dimensions would be a big help.... I use a second sleeve to hold local currency, credit cards etc as sort of a waterproof wallet. This is the 2nd sleeve I've bought. The first one (from another manufacturer) was cheaper, but tore on both sides of the opening from stress of daily opening and shutting (wallet usage). This sleeve seems to use a slightly thicker and more pliable material. I hope it'll last longer, but haven't tested it yet.

Fits perfectly

Other reviews said it is too tight, I am a fan of the size. It is easy to remove yet doesn’t have excess wasted space for a passport.

Decent way to keep document dry and safe

I've used this and the smaller version for years. I've use them for a couple of things. I put our ID cards in them when we go to the Y. My plan was to attach it to a lanyard, and it worked well until the eyehole at the top tore through on one of them. On trips I used them to put money and/or a credit cards in when I go to the pool or beach. I then put them in the pocket of my swimsuit. I have not used them for a passport because I have another holder. They do fit a passport but it is a little snug as others have pointed out. I think calling them "waterproof" is a little bit of a stretch. They do provide excellent protection from short exposure to water, like if you accidently dropped it into a pool or lake, then removed. However, if you take this swimming or snorkeling, where it is submerged for a period of time, it can leak. I've looked at, and used, similar products for keeping cash or documents dry, and for the price this is one of the best options I've found. Yes, you can put everything in a plastic sandwich bag for a fraction of the cost. However those tear easily, are clumsy, and leak fairly easily, in my experience. Overall I've been happy. I do wish the eyelet at the top was reinforced better, but other than that they seem well constructed.

Small, some blemishes

Ordered two. One had some blemishes (not so transparent spots). The other is fine. Very small. Basically very tight for a US passport, but you still can close it okay. I guess it's a minimalistic pouch: just enough: makes sense.

Very close fit

The product it pretty well made. Probably not submergible, but good at keeping something dry through rain. Be careful - my passport with the extra pages fits in very tightly. Hard to get in and out.

This will actually hold a CDC Covid vaccine card, with room to spare

This actually holds a passport sized object and is waterproof. It is a little big for my CDC card, but it actually HOLDS a CDC COVID19 Vaccination card, unlike the badge-sized (read: driver's license sized) pouches that are "shown" holding a CDC vaccination card. It is clear plastic on both sides. I'm very happy with it.

sturdy

I have used this product for years and LOTS of international travel. Has kept my passports super safe in some crazy locations. Honestly I purchased this about 10 years ago, and it still works great. Sorry for the delay in 5-stars, but at least we know its sturdy!
