Not super great at first
Months ago when we first got it I reviewed it at 1 Star. Don't know if it was damaged or just poorly manufactured. But initially the plastic would not really roll off easily. Acted "dinged" and the plastic would not really stick to anything (not even itself). But recently I noticed a change. It has gotten to where it works exactly how I would hope (and expect). I guess we just finally got down to the good stuff. Today I will give it a 3 Star review.

Buy Wrap not Crap
I was so very disgruntled that every time I bought plastic wrap at the department store, they had found yet another way to make it cheaper. First my 12” wide roll became 11 1/2”, then my 200’ roll became a 150’ roll, but the worst was reducing it to the thickness of a soap bubble (exaggeration, not much however). So I switched to the most famous name in plastic wrap etc. It was total disappointment, (maybe worse). Milk the public, give them as little as possible, and marketing gets an increase in compensation. THIS WRAP IS WHAT YOU WANT. Full width, as long as 10 or more of the usual “big” rolls, and thick enough to handle, and do a good job at protecting your food. I thought the big box would be hard to handle. Just the opposite is true. Set it down, pull out a nice length, and slide the plastic cutter. I thought the 2000’ box was such a great value, that I bought a 3000’ box to get me buy until they put me in “the home”. Certainly a many year supply.

This would work best if you could set it on a counter where ...
This is a big box, 5 1/2" x 6" x 14 so it will take up a shelf or counter. The "zip strip" attaches with double sided tape, and got knocked off in 2 weeks. I plan to glue it on with epoxy to make sure it stays put. This would work best if you could set it on a counter where you wrap a lot so you can roll it out over the food, then zip it with the cutter. Leaving it put makes it work easier but our tiny kitchen isn't designed for that so you have to make do. It cuts easily, pull out as long a chunk as you need, but it still tends to wrap back into itself. Just don't cut it under a lot of tension, otherwise it springs into the rest of the clear. That being said, it's way better than cutting your knuckles on the old fashioned saw tooth boxes, and it's a heck of a lot easier to get it out. My advise when putting that adhesive strip in place is move it one inch farther in on the box, so you end up with about an inch and a half of clear plastic outside the box to work with when you are attempting to grab it. You kind of pick at the cut point at the little plastic strip to get the clear plastic off. This may be easier if you have 20 year old eyes, however with grandpa eyes, you have to watch closely to find the end, hence my comment above. It's still much better than a standard box, and with the quantity involved, may outlast me.

Good Wrap But Delivery Went Awry
This is my regular go-to wrap that is a good value and effective. Unfortunately, this purchase was damaged in shipping and had to be returned. The one thing about this particular wrap the makes me keep buying it is the actual size of the box. It is slightly smaller than other 18 inch wraps and exactly fits into the IKEA 12 inch pull out base kitchen cabinet top shelf. Other wraps I have purchased end up in the old Seal Wrap box so as to fit in the cabinet. When placed in the top shelf of the pull out cabinet, it is effortless to use and super convenient.

Great product.
This particular product is very easy to use. So many products still have razor edges that always seem to find my knuckles. The large size is convenient if you don’t want to have to buy constantly. I use it to not only cover dishes, but to actually become a container - especially for marinating meats.

Big Roll. Works Fine.
There are things I buy in advance to stock our shelves at home, which I don't like to give much thought. Plastic wrap is one of them. The huge rolls that I bought here should last us a very long time and that makes me happy The wrap is nothing special, but it works fine. It comes out of the box without much effort. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.
