This stuff works
I quarantine all my new marine fish with the product with 100% success

Plants use it up quickly - you'll need a good copper tester & dose daily if you have a planted tank
I finally bought a Hannah Instruments low range copper checker because I couldn't get rid of a minor ich problem. Well worth the money. I bought directly from Hannah to be sure I got the real thing and bought extra test packets. I learned that my heavily planted tank will use up roughly 50% of the copper overnight! Very cool to see how the plants really do clean the water. But, you can't use the directions on the Cupramine bottle as far as dosing if you have a planted tank, because your plants will use up the copper really quickly. The Cupramine did not hurt the plants at all, in fact, they are thriving. The only thing I've noticed is that the fish seem to be losing their appetite during the dosing, but are still very active and I haven't seen any of them flash for a couple of days now. However, other than that, they are handling the fluctuating copper amounts fine. I've had to basically overdose it every day and it still ends up less than the correct dose by the next day. For instance, dosing the tank to nearly 400ppb (optimum dose is roughly 250ppb for my tank) and by the next day, it's down to around 200ppb or less. To give you an idea of how densely planted my tank is, it's jam-packed, wall to wall plants like a super dense jungle, with Amazon swords bent over at the water line and red tiger lotus with tons of lily pads, rotalia and other plants grown to the surface. Bottom line, if you have a heavily planted tank, you'll need to dose daily to try to keep the correct amount of copper in the tank. And I highly recommend the Hanna Instruments low range copper tester, which you can buy directly from that company to be sure you get the real thing. Yes, it's expensive, but worth it, in my opinion. I have cardinal & glowlight tetras, rasboras, danios, guppies, corydoras.

A good snail killer
This product did a good job of killing off most of the snails that came to my tank on some live plants that I purchased. The fish become very sluggish when treatment starts but adapt. Be sure to remove carbon from your filters and remove dead snails or they will cloud your water and cause ammonia levels to rise. Also remember to do a water change afterwards. Does a good job but doesn't get them all.

Do not follow the directions. Works too well.
This stuff works! I tried everything to get rid of the snails. Traps, total tank clean with bleach wash, bleach washed plants and all tank assessories. The directions say 20 drops per 20US gallons...no no no! I have a 30 gallon tank and before I was able to get to the 20 drops my fish started gasping for air and hovering together, the snails dropped dead instantly. I immediately drained all water, plants etc from the tank and filled with fresh water. A few days later more snails, I added 3 drops every other day for a week. I haven't seen a snail since and I still do regular gravel cleaning without using this stuff. Any more snails I will do the 3 drops every other day again. This stuff works great, just BE CAREFUL!

Kills snails, but noticed my pleco was also sensitive!
Definely kills snails. There were so many snails, I've had issues with ich and the warmer temp in the aquarium only helped minimally. I did notice the dosing is higher for saltwater. So if you have FRESHWATER reduce dosing by half! So before I bought more fish, in goes the copper. Noticed within 30 minutes most of the snails in the tank appeared dead. The snails buried in the substrate are dying as they come to the surface. So I'll be completing the cycle for at least a week. I moved my bristlenose pleco to a quarantine tank because he came out of hiding and I NEVER see him.

WORKED TO KILL SNAILS!
I had ramshorn snails that were taking over my fish tank. I added some of this and within days the snails died off. I have a snail free tank now!

3 stars. B/c could have just been my thorough clean…
The media could not be loaded. Had snail leeches. As shown in video! I salt dipped everything in the tank! Washed it with fresh salt water 5 times. Rinsed 4-5 times. And did a dose of cupramine. And 2 weeks later I haven’t seen a single leech. I even made the mistake of adding the guppy that had the leech problem before checking if it was parasite free after 3 weeks. It’s now been another 3 weeks and I don’t see any leeches. So the dose could have killed the remaining leeches that were possibly on my guppy when I reintroduced him. My mystery snail is forever in quarantine though. He will not be reintroduced due to the cupramine dose could potential kill him.

Miracle Chemical
I have a 29 gallon aquarium that was overloaded with snails. Hundreds of them of various sizes. I treated the tank in the evening, and a few hours later, most of the snails were gone. I did the second treatment 48 hours later, and almost all the others were also dead. I'm not sure if this will 100% get rid of all of them, but I'm fine with having a few in there. Many people are against this type of chemical in aquariums, but it really works. I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked, and am very happy with it. My fish didn't appear to be affected by it either. Some others on here are saying their fish didn't do very well, but mine did fine. I have a very basic setup community tank with hearty species. Don't use this if you have shrimp, as they will also die along with the snails.

Peces no afectados.
Gran producto.
