Glazeable

This was a gift to a clay art student, and boy has she put them to good use. She does finer glazing than 99% percent out there, and boy do they hit the spot. Only time will tell as to their longevity. I’ll update later if it’s necessary, but so far so good.

oh where to start

I liked that these brushes came in a set, as I'd been looking for brushes to use in my potter's wheel class. But the handles feel cheaply finished and the bristles aren't as fluffy as pictured. I'm using them until I find something else. Not the worst quality brushes but far from great.

Sum-ie brushes

Got these for painting Sumi-e - the bristles are ok, but since I got the Asian brush holder, this set does not have loops on the back end, so I had to glue loops on them - took me five minutes to add them, and will take 3 minutes to paint bands around the top of the brush, and around the top of the bristles brushes. All in all, this is a good set,

Shedding & design flaw or cheap material

Well, I use the brushes for encaustic wax. Th brush sheds terribly & the larger brush Handle was hollow so when I used the hot wax with the brush the wax dripped down the inside of the brush & came out on the other end where my hand was & burned my hand. So don’t use with encaustic wax & beware using paint or ink that it drips down from the bristles & through the handles into your hand. Plus the brush sheds a lot!!

All purpose sizes

Nice variety of brush sizes..Brushes carry an excellent quantity of paint..No shedding of brush material. Excellent for detailed work and larger fill in.

most are OK

Some lost hair the first time they were wet. I still use them... some things are more easily done with just a few hairs on a brush. The rest are ok. I tend to kill my brushes because I use them on ceramic and that wears them out fast. So for cheap brushes they are OK.
