Schlage key code door lock

Several years ago I bought a Schlage Encode door lock and I'm so glad I did. There are cheaper ones on the market but in my opinion not as feature rich or as good of support. I have bought them for three different homes and have never been disappointed. A friend of mine bought a different brand that was half the cost but had the same features. She couldn't get it connected to wi-fi so she asked me to help her. The directions were terrible but what it seemed was that it was defective but wasn't sure. I said we needed to call their support. Well, that support was non-existent. They returned it and bought a Schlage Encode. She needed no help installing as it was easy peasy. She thanked me for recommending the Schlage Encode. The batteries seemed to last forever and are easy to install when needed. In the app, it has a battery monitor that gives the percentage of battery life left, which I think is very helpful. You get what you pay for in this case and I can highly recommend the Schlage Encode keyless door lock.

Good quality, adjustable bottom bolt makes great choice for replacement

Have an electronic deadbolt by same manufacturer and our old handle was showing its age. This matched the deadbolt and looked good. Quality is very good. The bottom bolt adjusts about .25" up and down to accommodate holes from existing applications a bit. Pay attention to the data to see if you can get away with it for your door. Mine was off but a bit too much to use the adjustable feature so I re-drilled and patched the holes. Not a big deal. Looks good and will last 20+ years. Mission accomplished.

Durable, locks easy, and unlocks easy with key

We bought this as a replacement of our old door knob. We love the old one so much, and it’s no longer available, so Amazon here we come. My husband found the exact same one. We had the locking mechanism destroyed by someone trying to break in while we were away.but they didn’t get in. So you know I wanted to just replace the old one, it worked great to keeping a burglar out. Can’t go wrong , I’d buy again, and again

Gorgeous!

We recently changed our door to having a coded/fingerprint locking mechanism to lock and open our front door. We still had just the regular round doorknobs, and I didn't like the look. So, I searched online and liked the look of this one the best. I'm so pleased with my choice! This is made of quality materials and is very tough and seems like it will last a good long time. It is beautiful and really dresses up my front door the way I hoped it would. It was very easy to install, and is smooth as silk when using. I like that I was able to just get the handle, since I already had a lock. The price was reasonable compared to many others of this caliber that are available in the big box hardware stores, and they only seem to have the ones with the lock included -- which is a waste of money if you don't need it. I highly recommend this brand and this unit.
