what I wanted...but buy it elsewhere

As things are at time of writing, it's better NOT to buy this here, but to buy it on...I know amazon will delete the website name, so I'll just say it rhymes more or less with 'leeway' and is a VERY popular buying and selling site! Well after ordering this, I found out the same sellers are selling it there with much cheaper shipping. Anyway, so as for the product - so far it seems fine, but it just arrived today. You can snap the lid shut along the shorter sides, not the longer ones..I'll find out if it's really dust-proof. Our house has a dust problem, and our baby won't have her own room for a while till we do some renovation...so I was keen to find toy storage that: a) didn't cost a fortune b) was transparent so I could see what was inside, c) would keep out the dust i.e. with a tight-fitting lid and I seem to have found what I wanted with this product. It's also great that these are stackable - I've just ordered a couple more. We may end up using them for something other than toys, but for now they are great for keeping baby's blocks and various other wandering toys in one location. Only trouble is, she finds the box fascinating and wants to play with it...not really what I had in mind!

Tubs are to expensive to purchase and you can’t use them!

Order took forever to come and when it did, it came damaged. It’s only 1 tub but what can we do to make it right?

Stackable, very useful size, lid snaps closed

The size (about the same as a shoe box - perhaps a bit larger) is handy for a variety of uses. I've used mine to hold peat pellets and start seeds, to temporarily house dart frogs while they're under quarantine, and to store a wide range of items. The lids snap shut at each end, and the lids stay put very well (I recommend pinching the lid and box together, rather than simply applying force to the lid to snap them closed). The lids make stacking the containers easy, and when empty the boxes fit inside each other and take up very little space. The only negative experience I had was entirely due to user error. I managed to drop one of the boxes (I purchased 6) and it cracked somewhere along its adventurous trip down a flight of bare wooden stairs. All in all, these are much sturdier and close more securely than the plastic storage containers I've found elsewhere.

Best I Have Found for Hobby Parts

These are the best household storage boxes I have ever found for keeping various hobby parts and pieces organized. These are nice quality and the lids fit well, and the clarity of the plastic lets you see what's inside at a glance. Also, they stack pretty well, as the bottom of each box is tapered, and fits into the top of the lower box's lid. This makes them have tapered sides, which some people don't like, but the ease of stacking outweighs this in my opinion. They don't actually fit a regular pair of men's shoes very well, but they are fabulous for a million other things. I use them in my office as well as in the garage, and have no complaints as to their utility or durability.

works fine but snap is flimsy

works fine but the snap is not very secure- it snaps at the handles, so the sides bulge out if you overfill it, or fill it with less solid items (i've filled it with clothes, so they decompress and push the sides out). i wouldn't use this for something that needs to be moved significantly, i think the top would pop off.

Nice boxes to store shoes or other objects

This would have gotten a higher rating but three of the kids were cracked upon delivery. The boxes will only work for heels and flats, no boots or sneakers.

Not cheap, but solid.

I wanted a more see-through box to store my yarn, so I could see what's in each box. Most containers like this are more opaque and not helpful. These are a tiny bit "frosted" but not overly, so I can see the colors of the skeins. The lids lock well - if you don't overfill them! I did initially, so I got a few more. :)

Great size

They are the perfect size, but being in a pharmaceutical company, they break really easy and we can't have any broken material around the product. We are using the ones that haven't broken; which is over 3/4th of the order, but the 1/4th that got damaged we had to toss. We have learned to be a bit more cautious with them.
