Holds embroidery thread

Fits 1000m Isacord Embroidery Threads perfectly
This box is just like the boxes I ordered through Isacord, same amount of money. They are exactly as described. I have had 2 of these, just purchased a 3rd from this site (other 2 are from isacord). The hinges work fine on all mine. I have had my other 2 for at least 5 years now, never broke, etc. These fit Isacord 1000m (1094 yard) spools perfectly. They also fit Glide brand 1000m spools (same size as the isacord spools). There is even room to fit all 30 spools on the pegs, with some upside down in between the others, with closing the lid (which is what I had been doing with all my extra spools before I got this additional case). They stack and sort of "lock in" when stacked, so they don't slide offr each other, and when stacked, you can easily see inside since it's clear, so you can grab the correct box you need without rifling through all the boxes. If you don't have drawers to put your spools in, I would recommend these boxes since they are clear, hinged, sturdy, stackable, and not too large. I rated 4 stars value for the money only because I think it's slightly pricey for a plastic box, even though it is durable.

Good quality and price.
These containers hold my embroidery thread beautifully. Since I use the tall Floriani thread spools I am very pleased with these boxes and they are light and travel well.

Sturdy case for thread
Have purchased four of these and use to keep my embroidery thread free from dust and organized by colors

Latches aren't very strong
Latches break easily but they are ideal for storing my machine embroidery thread spools.

Fits Madeira, Floriani, Isacord
It fits many different brands of home embroidery thread. Some are taller than others, some are wider, but they all fit. It fits my Madeira, Floriani and Isacord threads. I like the latches too. Buying another one!

Excellent! Just like the OESD case but less expensive. And they all nest on each other!
These are great embroidery thread storage boxes. I have mostly Isacord embroidery thread and a few spools of Madeira. This case holds BOTH types of thread just fine....(1000 yard spool cone sizes). I had run out of space and was storing thread upside down between the spindles that hold the thread and couldn't find a thing. I looked at my local shop for some more empty cases for additional storage and the OESD ones they sold were almost $40 each. I took a chance on these. These are excellent! They have a groove (see photo) on the top of the lid that allows them to nest onto one another without sliding off of each other. Surprisingly, these also nest perfectly inside the tops of the OESD ones I already owned so these new ones won't slide around on the old OESD ones either. Great value, great quality! Would highly reccomend!

Tall spool of thread
The box is tall enough to allow for the tall spools of thread. Also spaced apart well so additional spools of thread can be placed in between posts.

Does the job
Perfect for storing my collection of sewing threads. The posts are far enough apart to accommodate all sizes and shapes of cotton reel and the whole thing appears to be quite sturdy.

Fits spools of machine embroidery perfectly
Thread colors are very visible so you don't have to open all of the containers to find your color choice. Just be aware that the spool holders are not removeable so this is only useful for organizing threads. It works great. I ordered 3 more.

Perfect for machine embroidery threads. It displays them neatly and clearly, and looks great on my shelves. It keeps them dust free so no risk of clogging up the tension discs on my machine. Easy to open and close. I love it.

Product Description
The product is excellent, but the measurements listed are incorrect. Before purchasing I received the correct dimensions from the seller. The correct metric measurement is L 29.5cm x W 25cm x H 8.5cm or imperial measurement is L 11.6" x W 9.84" x H3.35" The height is critical as it is will only hold a spool to a maximum of 7cm or 2.75" in order for the lid to close.
