Was great….until it wasn’t
I absolutely loved this scanner at first. I purchased it in 2021. It worked great until recently. Then it completely shut down. I hired a computer repair company to work on it and even they had to uninstall and reinstall the scanner and program multiple times! It still isn’t working correctly. I’m so bummed. So, just know that when it craps the bed….it will be time for a new scanner. So disappointed and frustrated.

Works fantastic
It makes scanning so easy. I have not tried all the features but cleaning up file drawers has become so much easier. It's fast,scans both sides and gives options on how to file the information. Easy to hook up,load program and ready to go. I ended up getting a second one for home,so I wouldn't have to take it back and forth. But very portable. Well worth the money.

Not perfect, but works really good so far with my NAS
It took a few hours to set up, but that was mostly because at the last minute I decided to get this iX1600 over the iX1400 I had been planning on. I am not a fan of so much wireless, but I thought I would spend a few dollars more to get the capability (might help with resell if I find something better). I did use the wireless capability after all. So in the end the scanner is not connected to the computer at all. I set up the cloud function to work with Google Drive. Then I set up my Synology NAS with Cloud Sync to pull documents off Google Drive. This way all my computers can access these scanned documents. It just takes seconds for this to happen. The only down side is that from time-to-time I will need to delete the documents on the Google Drive manually. I have not tested anything but documents, but this is working much better than expected. The only reason I didn't rate it higher is that it was a bit more difficult to set up than I think it should be. I had to go to several sites to research how this could be done. I had never really used the Google Drive before, or Cloud Sync. If you already know how to use these things it will probably go very well for you.

Small footprint with great quality scans
The media could not be loaded. It is well-packaged and I always try to take pics of unboxing all the parts, in case I need to package it back up again to return. In this case, I am not returning! I have it next to my desk and just scan the receipts into my computer - it's super fast! I have it set up to scan into my computer, read the text, sort by date and name, then I manually upload to the cloud. The store names are not always accurate, so I need to update them prior to uploading. Also, if I have it automatically upload to the cloud, it will upload the docs with the original doc names, prior to the scansnap program changing the file name to date and store name. The program also auto-straightens the images. Some receipts do get overlapped and some receipts are too long. For the overlapped, I just go delete them and rescan. For the long receipts, you can choose manual scan, then scan it and it will do the whole receipt. Overall a great scanner and program, but still room for improvement.

Barely used..
So I just got it and have not used all its functionality. Gave a it a test run to figure it out. I like that it's quick. But it's weird to have to scan the papers upside down and last paper will appear first.that part was annoying. It's really quick..but for now i like it

A great scanner!
This is my second Scan Snap. The first one is on my assistant's desk and still cranking after five years. I wanted one for my desk. This model is faster than the 500. An important tool for a law office since e-filing and e-recording are here to stay. We are on our way to becoming paperless!

Best Scanner!
Wow! Just wow. I started out with a Scan Snap and it lasted for 10 years. Literally no problems..I just ran the thing ragged. Was I smart enough to order another one. No, I thought I'd go with an Epson, since our printers are Epson's. What a foolish mistake. Nothing but trouble since I've had it. So, I finally broke down and got the ScanSnap ix1600. I can't praise this scanner enough! It's fast, and the scans are crystal clear. The software is exceptional and the way you can customize it's settings makes life SO much easier. If you scan a lot and do it regularly, don't hesitate, this thing is the amazing.

Bonjour, J'ai acheté ce produit supposément révolutionnaire en ce qui attrait à la rapidité du Scan et il est très difficile d'effectuer le claassement des fichier et en ce qui attrait au reçu de caisse 3/4 du temps ne réussit pas à scanner ou ne fonctionne pas.

The real deal! I was going to buy the ix1500 then I noticed they released this new model. I was skeptic all about how much faster it was but it really was! Even with over wifi. Really good buy.
