poor packaging, ok product
i don't expect the highest quality from amazon branded products so i knew what i was getting into when choosing this item. everything about the unit is bare minimum production and sturdiness. i'm using it to store some small weight plates with 32lbs on the bottom shelf and it's holding up so far. the liner for the top arrived damaged but i wouldn't have used it anyhow so that's fine. other plastic pieces for packaging purposes were also broken. perhaps amazon needs to rethink how they package this item.

Perfect for my needs
We bought this to help keep the pantry organized and give us a little more space. We have wood shelves. This is perfect for our needs. Fits perfectly. Holds a lot of cans. I'm glad we bought this.

Seems fine, but not what I needed
I actually bought this intending to use only the wire shelves on another similar shelving unit, but it turns out that despite extremely similar dimensions, they do not fit on the unit I have (Songmics Bakers Rack model #ULGR040B01), so I'll be returning it. Other than that it seems fine!

Definitely sturdy when assembled correctly
I was a little worried from reviews saying this would fall apart. Soo with free shipping and free returns I decide it was risk free to put it through the ringer. And I did exactly that. My plan was to place a 10 gallon fish tank on the bottom shelf and use the top for storing various aquarium equipment and fish food. But a 10 gallon tank when filled weighs about 100 lbs. The shelves say this is totally within their weight capacity, the reviews would try to say it's not. It is, in fact, totally doable. But I didn't test this by filling a tank full of 10 gallons of water in my apartment over carpeted floors. No. I tested it by putting a 150lb human on it who then proceeded to bounce a bit on it... And the shelf didn't budge, bend, or break. The tank has been sitting on it for a solid 2 weeks now, twice I've removed the top shelf to more easily access the tank. That part is a little annoying but that's my bad for not paying close attention to how much clearance I'd end up with between the top of the tank and the shelf above it. There's a very important detail in the instructions where it shows the plastic clips not meeting up and shows that you need to have a small gap on both sides to ensure it still locks in place. If you do this, it will stay locked in place. I used the board it comes with on the bottom shelf instead of top shelf in order to aid in the distribution of weight of the tank. I'll update if it dumps 10 gallons of water on my floor at some point, but let's be honest, it's not rated to be an aquarium stand (it is rated for more weight than a 10 gallon tank though). This is the second one of these I've owned. The last one was used as a temporary microwave cart. It did bend a little on that top shelf and that was because the weight of the microwave was on its quarter sized feet. Put a solid board on top of these shelves and they're golden.

Good makeshift Intel NUC server rack
I use this to have all my Intel NUC / ASUS Px mini servers (4) and some Raspberry PIs (3) in one location in a semi orderly fashion. Sturdy, easy to assemble, good quality materials. And looks quite nice, thanks tot he black finish. The wire frame shelves give me enough options to do some cable guidance using reusable zipstraps so the entire thing even looks semi professional and not like a cable factory exploded. I arranged the middle shelf half height (very easy to do with the shelf system) and have all the power strips etc below it. 10/10 will buy again.

Well Built and Sturdy .. except for the MDF
The quality of the rods and the shelf is quite good. According to the Manual it can hold upto 90KG on each shelf (Total 180 KG), have not tested full capacity yet but works for the purpose that i got it for. The level adjustment screws are really helpful and of good quality. Cons:- The MDF is not that great, quite thin and the top wrap (looks like some plastic) already came off. The top shelf has some plastic cap, it broke when opening the package, cheap plastic, luckily the configuration that i have it at does not need the caps. One of the Shelf is bent, does not look like a transport issue looks more of manufacturing defect, i kind of need it urgently and quite frankly sending it back at this time did not make sense. So using it as is.
