Nice for the vertically challenged
Purchased this for my newly married daughter, who was having fly issues in her new house. She’s on the shorter side, so the telescopic handle is a nice feature. We got a good chuckle out of it when I gave it to her as she was pretty excited that it extended so she could even get the flies on the ceiling ???? I do wish it extended a little more and I only gave it 4 stars because the actual flyswatter surface could be a little bigger IMO. But overall, happy with this purchase.

Versatile as a fly swatter gets
Fly swatters are so diverse, probably so some stand out and induce us to buy them. I've tried a lot of variations, from the electric tennis-rackety to plain old plastic ones. This style is very handy because of the telescoping handle. It's unobtrusive and easy to store away. I'm not a good aim, and wonder if the tiny flies around lamplight can sense they're in danger when they vanish. I'll be first in line for a swatter you can use before bugs can get away. This is a little floppy. That might not be a bad thing, and it's held up all summer with light use. I deducted a star because of its big holes. Some insects just get away. I've found that if I swat around furiously, they often do disappear. It probably just happens to hit them. Or maybe it scares them to death.

Great idea
Great concept! I have high ceilings so the telescoping length is great and sturdy. The plastic swatter part is thin hard plastic and doesn't bend without breaking very well. For the price though, it's a great deal.

Worth the couple extra bucks! Great swatter!
Great quality. It’s a little more than your average swatter but we’ll worth it. I have been thru a few of the telescoping swatters but they were cheap for the dollar section of my local drug store. All break eventually, some sooner than later. I am a forceful & aggressive swatter and this little guy has stood the test of time. Durable and lightweight which gives you more fly smooshing power. Mesh is small enough to catch the fruit flies that occasionally linger in my kitchen and drive me crazy. Also, this is longer than any other telescoping swatter I have ever owned. Love the added reach because I can get the pesky ones that hide on the ceiling or in the recessed lighting fixtures.

telescopic flyswatter
best dam flyswatter I've ever had. Had to get used to the handle length, hit the dog, hit the kids, missed the flies. I've got it now and the flies are doomed. They'll never know what thwacked them.

Good for big flies and bugs
Took a chance even after reading another review but have to agree- the holes are a bit too large for pesky fruit flies and some of the smaller pests, and the actual swatting part itself is a bit small compared to my older ones. Feels otherwise solid but would not re-purchase as my aim isn’t good enough to deal with the aforementioned issues

The telescoping works
We needed a short fly swatter that could be telescoped longer when in use. When not in use it is short enough to be hung on the wall under the table out of sight. As a fly swatter it has succeeded on every try.

Terrible
The first time I used it the sweater bent at the joint.. 2 days later the handle broke in two.. The swatter is small and flimsy as well.. I am. Not a body builder but this cannot handle actually swatting anything without damaging the handle if extended at all.

Not bad
I like that this fly swatter is telescopic. I'm not sold on the actual slappy bits though as they are more of an open grid, so smaller flies such as fruit flies or fungus gnats are sometimes missed.
