Messy
I used Sherman Williams interior matte latex paint. The viscosity made it difficult to inject into the caulk cylinder which became air bound and the paint "burped" out around the paint syringe nozzle. Once inside and shaken well, the caulk color was several shades lighter than the paint color even though the correct amount of paint was added. After the hardener was added and allowed to set, the caulk applied easily and set up like ordinary latex caulk. Overall, I'm happy with the finished product but I will have to order another tube and use a darker paint color to get a perfect match for the rest of the project.

Perfect Color Match!!!! Tricks of the trade are needed....
Product actually exceeded expectations. Not having enough time to chalk everywhere before the final painting was completed, I needed something that would match the color perfectly so that additional touch up painting on a large project would not be needed. This product works!! Easy to use however I did learn several tricks over the course of time that could make or break your project. The product is a little difficult to work with after application compared to normal chalking but with a wet towel for wiping off any excess along with a bit of patience everything went great. Additionally I had no problem mixing/shaking either the paint or hardener in the tube. If you shake the mixtures vigorously for about 1 min each, you should be good to go. I let the hardener set for an hour before application and it worked great. It did take about 1 day to dry once applied. HINT1 - Before inserting the paint OR the hardener - you should gently hit the bottom of the chalk tube on a hard surface so that the intended air pocket is forced to the top of the tube, otherwise when you insert the paint or hardener into the tube there will be not enough air space and the paint or hardener will be forced out around the nozzle. You also need to firmly hold the paint/hardener nozzles into the tube to ensure the full volume of paint or hardener is inserted. This stuff is THICKER than you think and if you are not careful, there will not be enough air space at the top of the tube to accept the paint and hardener. HINT2 - Lesson Learned... It is especially important to do the actions in HINT1 before inserting the hardener. If the entire contents of the hardener is not inserted, the chalking will NOT HARDNED and will flake with cracks. I used about 14 tubes on my project. However there was 1 tube early one where I lost some hardener since there was not enough air space. I proceeded to continue the process and shook up the mixture. I was a bit skeptical about whether to use the tube or not so I decided to do a test on an area not easily seen. Thank GOODNESS since the chalking never hardened, cracked and peeled. I ended up throwing the rest of that tube away. My lesson was learned and I adopted the process of ensuring the air space was at the top!! Overall great product, but if you don't get the correct amount of paint or hardener into the tube, the final product will not meet expectations. I would highly recommend the use of this product!

Color Match
This color match caulk is the best, it really makes corners look clean

Greatest stuff ever
Color match was perfect. Caulk was easy to work—not too sticky or rigid. I found the process of adding paint and the hardener easy. Just make sure to shake it extra well, tap out air bubbles and let it sit for a while. Then it should work just as perfectly for you.

Great caulk solution for matching paint color!
Skeptical at first but this product really works and works great! We installed a new storm door and needed to caulk around the frame, both inside and out. We painted the main front door same color as storm door. Did not want to use the typical white or clear caulk and then try to paint over. We get direct sun all day, so painted caulk fades, cracks, chips. This product was just what we needed. We had the paint, followed the instructions then ran a small bead all the way around. Turned out very professional. Nice clean install. Caulk matches the storm door. Highly recommend

Trick for getting the paint into the tube.
My first tube was a nightmare trying to get the paint into the caulk tube. The paint has to go in while air has to come out and it doesn't work well at all. My second tube I figured it out. I bought a syringe with a large bore needle for injecting seasoning into meat. I measured out the 30ml of paint using the included Sashco syringe, transferred that into a small cup then sucked that up into the meat syringe, added the needle back on to it and used the meat syringe (with its long needle) to inject the paint down deeper into the caulk tube. Air was able to easily come out as the paint being injected displaced it. Bonus: the color mixed up easier having the paint down inside to start. This stuff definitely shrinks while curing so plan for multiple applications in larger areas. BUT... the results are incredible!

A little messy, but it does the job.
We were putting in dark brown baseboards our house, darker than any of the off-the-shelf colored caulks available. Since we weren't using it in any bathrooms or the laundry room, the 'not for wet areas' caution wasn't a problem. The only issues I had with it was the mixing part. There is barely enough headroom in the tube for the paint and hardener. Therefore, before opening the tube for the first time, make sure that all of the airspace is at the top of the tube. (Tamp it down on a table if you have to.) If you don't, you might find that you can't add the paint without overflowing the tube. (Do the same after mixing the paint into the caulk in order to make sure the hardener fits.) The 'one minute' mixing is wrong. Without a mechanical mixer, I don't see how it's possible to fully mix the paint into the base in that short of time. It took at least 5 minutes of vigorous shaking to get what I considered an adequate mix. (The transparent tube did help in deciding when the paint was fully mixed in.) One other note: Although it mentions this in the instruction sheet, it bears repeating: The white base turns clear when it dries. This means that when the caulk is in the tube (and initially applied), it looks significantly lighter than it ultimately turns out. I missed this little piece of information and was initially disappointed in the resulting color. However, after completely drying, the color did match the baseboards. All was good.

I've ordered 3. Two weren't good.
I would have given 5 stars the first time I ordered. The caulking mixed well and worked well. No shrinkage issues and it was easy to tool and the results were excellent. The second time I ordered, I was given one that looked very old in a water-damaged box. It didn't mix well at all. I spent a good 15 minutes trying to get some amount of uniformity and was unable to. This was with the same type of paint as the first time, just a different colour. I had to toss it - it wasn't usable. The third time I ordered things looked better. The caulking did mix well (same paint as with the failed second attempt). However it was godawful to use. I'm experienced in the use of different caulking, and this was just bad. It wouldn't spread well, it wouldn't tool well, and while I was able to complete the job I wasn't thrilled with it. It works so well when it does work and it such a great idea. However 2/3 times I ordered it didn't work. To me it felt like it was just an expired oduct they shipped out hoping someone would use it a bit and not return it. It worked. I was the sucker. I won't order again.

Easier Than Edge Painting
It takes a bit of time to mix up and around 5 days to cure but end result is worth it. It gives a straight and even line between the wall and baseboard with an exact colour match.

Matches perfectly
So far so good. Followed the instructions and the caulking perfectly matched our stain. Recently installed so we will monitor for ongoing quality.

Don't use it with stain, it won't match
I tried to use it with stain, but it does not match at all, it is almost white.
