Great little bag

Make no mistake, this bag is small. But if that is what you are seeking, it is a great bag. It has one main compartment that comfortably holds a 13” MacBook Pro, and one side compartment for a few small accessories. And the padded handles make it great for carrying. Again, small is the key. If you like to throw lots of stuff in a bag, this one’s not for you.

Perfect for ThinkPad X270

Most laptop briefcases are huge with so many pockets and flaps they are overkill for what I wanted. I have a nice travel briefcase if I need to lug around a charger, spare battery, moleskine, pens, ipad, cords, etc. What I wanted was a small briefcase-style bag big enough for the x270 and an iPad mini that I could grab and head to the coffee shop for a couple hours of typing but that was also lightweight, padded, and held everything in place without the computer and tablet sliding all around. This is it. As close to a perfect fit for what I have been looking for as could be expected. Great construction, sufficient padding, looks sharp, and is exactly the right size for my laptop. If you have anything larger, this bag will not work. I tried to fit a 14" T440s in it just to see and it would not fit. But if you have a smaller laptop like my 12.5" x270 and are looking for a nice top loading minimalist case this may be the end of your search.

its great!

I love this bag, its petite and a pleasure to use for traveling! The only thing which took me some time to get used to was the handles for carrying - the stitching dug into my hands when it was new but now it doesn't bother me. Only one issue I have with this bag is when the laptop goes in the padding on the sides is great but there is NO padding on the bottom - if you place the bag on the floor your laptop will hit the floor. I ended up buying a sleeve to place into the bag and it gives my Macbook protection; I did this because I still loved the bag.

Not as good

It’s the same size, but not as nice as the one I bought in Hong Kong. The main compartment doesn’t have an interior zipper pouch. The front section doesn’t unzip far enough, and there’s no way to zip the pouch that connects to another piece of luggage’s handle, which was handy for going through airport security. I wish I had my old bag!

Works fine

I use this for my 12 inch Thinkpad X200 when I need to bring it with me. The strap is comfortable and it never gets twisted. It's on a clip so if I feel like carrying it only I can take it off and stuff it inside. I can also attach it to my luggage too which I have done. Capacity is very limited, but keep in mind this is for the smallest of laptops. I commonly carry an extra battery plus the charger and usually it bulges out a bit. So far this hasn't been an issue, but I also don't use it every day.

Very small bag

This bag is VERY small. Make sure you review the product specs for the size. At best it will hold a 12-13” laptop with little room for anything else. If you are looking for a bag to carry a laptop, files, and other accessories this is probably not a good choice. I ended up sending it back and buying something larger. That said, it seemed well made and had a good warranty.

Gets the job done

Would like to have seen taped zippers and a double zipper that opened wider for the accessory pocket but it holds my 13" MacBook Pro and iPad Pro 11 just fine in the main compartment and chargers/cables/pens and dongles in the accessory compartment.

I like the AmazonBasics Bag Better

I decided to "treat myself" to a nicer bag, since I assumed that the "basics" bag would be just that. But after using this bag for a month, I've concluded that I like the AmazonBasics bag I had for my larger laptop better. Specifically, the mechanism that prevents the shoulder strap from getting twisted doesn't work well, and the hook came undone while walking down the stairs, nearly causing my laptop to slam against the ground. The bag works, but I've had better.

Neat Looking, good workmanship

I have been using Samsonite luggage for a while. Like the neat design, no silly oversized logo but carries the same design language over the years. It says 13 inches only, for a 13.5-inch surface laptop 4 (4:3 screen ratio), it fits quite loosely. I can also put in my old Dell Latitude 7490 (14-inch 16:9 screen) without any problem. A great daily laptop message-style bag, as an alternative to a full-size backpack on those warmer summer days.

Great professional bag

The design of the bag is top notch, very business oriented look, professional and just enjoyable handles etc. My biggest complain is the bulkiness of the bag for 13" and the amount of compartments. It has only two I believe and the main one having no organization pockets at all. This is a bag for a small laptop for sure, if you have anything else in mind it won't work that well...hence 4 star, great bag, but lacks the pockets and organizational compartments

Can't Beat It

This is my second such bag. (First one given away and still going strong.) This was a no brainer choice for me. One improvement would be a few small pouches for small gear like USB sticks. Still, I would buy again, pouches or not.

¡Excelente diseño! Práctico y con look profesional

Un modelo muy atractivo y funcional que había estado buscando hace tiempo. Luce profesional y la textura de los materiales se ve resistente y elegante. En las fotos casi no se aprecia pero la bolsa del frente tiene compartimentos para plumas, libretas, disco duro, etc. ¡Muy práctico y el envío fue súper rápido!
