Love this hiking shoe line

Really have liked these Salomon hiking shoes, am a repeat customer. Very good support and comfort for hiking and walking in a wide variety of environments. It may be my imagination but my recent pairs are less waterproof (an important factor in purchase) than an earlier pair (predecessor model). My first pair made it through swampy terrain without leaking until the shoe cracked. My recent purchases have given me wet feet when my only exposure was heavy dew and light squih. Just re-treated with a ninwax product and am going to put on my muck boots more frequently as a result. Second, they tend to wear out for me at the heel which shortens life or requires duct tape - like so many people my feet are wider through the insole than at the heel. Wish they would modify the last to make it tighter fitting there.

Decent shoe but a few issues

These are good shoes with a few problems. My previous shoes were the Gore-Tex Outlines low. They don't make them any longer so I got these. Nice lateral support, nice toe box, they feel good, supportive, and sturdy. However the back rides up very high on my ankle which has left blisters so I'm hoping they eventually break in. Not something you can really tell until you wear them. Additionally they are a bit bulky in general, and they run large by about a half size.

Run hot

I’ve had waterproof Salomon hikers for the last few years that I loved until they got holes. I got this newer version in preparation for a big hike and have worn them on multiple training hikes. They are comfortable (similar to my older pair) support-wise but my feet get really hot in them. Looking forward to cooler temps.

Amazing Solomon trek shoe

I was looking for a heavy duty Solomon walking shoe to replace an old pair I had been wearing This was the closest in appearance. Lightweight, comfortable , padded inside, thick ridged sole. Went up a size to my usual shoe size

Definitely not waterproof

Wore out my last Salomon gortex hiking shoes which lasted through many years of wear so it was a no brainier to stay brand loyal. However, I found this particular model although comfortable and light was in no way waterproofed. I wasn’t fording streams or the like but just walking my dog through the morning dew and both feet were pretty wet and the insoles remained saturated and took over a day to dry out. As it was past the return date( there had been no rain in Norfolk like most other places all summer) I chatted to Amazon and there was no problem getting a full refund. This is why I buy almost all the things I need off Amazon it really does have the best after sales customer care service.

Perfekter Schuh, einmal drin, nie wieder raus

Dieser Tracking Sportschuh ist einfach ein perfekter Allrounder! Egal ob zum wandern/ Walking/ oder Spaziergang mit Hund . Ich habe bewusst den alten Schuh fotografiert von 2017! Der neue Schuh gekauft vor ca.3 Wochen ????man sieht viel benutzt ????würde ich niemals mehr hergeben wollen! Wenn man Probleme mit Füße hat, Einlagen benötigt, dann ist dieser auch ideal! Ich selbst trage ihn sogar ohne Einlagen und liebe ihn! Daher einmal drin, nie wieder raus. Super Regendicht ( viel mit Hund unterwegs). Trage übrigens hier Gr. 41 1/3 und habe 39 Schuhgröße. Also bestens zu empfehlen ☺️
