Best boot!

This is my second pair of Salomon Quest boots. I had to exchange this pair for a half size smaller this time. I hike a lot on unstable and rocky terrain. Quests are my go-to!

Rigid

More rigid than the other model I wore. The tongue on the sides digs in my legs causing blisters. The shoe is not flexible enough with my foot. Miss the speed lacing system from the other model.

Comfortable right out of the box

These boots were comfortable right out of the box. Took them on a quick 5 mile test loop that has every type of terrain except ice/snow and they preformed wonderfully. The creek crossings were impressive, not a drop of water made it in. Happy with them so far!

Hurt every step

I only hike in Salomon trail runners and figured might as well get hiking boots for the rainy / snow covered trails… these boots hurt every step in my living room, returned.

it's a LOT of boot! Feels like a ski boot which is not my particular need.

The product was delivered timely and fit well, but it is a LOT of boot. Unless you are used to hiking in a boot that feels like a ski boot, this one is not for you!

Not true to size!

These shoes are a full size too big. After ordering and returning three pairs over the period of several weeks Amazon refused to work with me to obtain the correct size. I was transferred to several departments who responded with scripted "it's not our policy." The end result is that they wanted me to pay double the price for a half size difference. Buyer beware sizing is a nightmare.

Innen Sole?! Orthopedic Sole bedeutet fehlend :D

So, ich sage klipp und klar dazu: ich bin mir unbewusst ob dieser Fehler Amazon zu verschreiben ist, oder dem Händler, aber dies ist MEINE Bewertung! Also: die Schuhe wurden mir ohne innen Sole geliefert! Über diesen Abend lache ich noch heute und das auspacken wurde sogar gefilmt (nach vorgingen Problem mit einer Amazon Lieferung als Sicherheit für mich) und zwar, die Schule ohne Einwand 100% neu und ungetragen.. ABER keine innen Sole :D ich lache nun darüber und habe mir auch nicht die Mühe gemacht dies zu versuchen umzutauschen weil mir die Zeit fehlt und ehrlich gesagt auch der nerv, ich habe die Schuhe gebraucht und da sonst alles perfekt war, war der Entschluss einfach aus den alten Salomon Schuhen die Sole rauszumachen und umzutauschen, aber frech ist es trotzdem und ich glaube sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt :D So, die Schuhe sind jetz mit neuen innen Solen bestattet, Dh wie bequem die normal sind kann ich nicht sagen, aber mit Solen vom Schuhmacher sind die super bequem :D Wasserdicht sind sie auch und man hat ein super halt drin! Bis aus das malleur sind es echt die best “gebautesten” Schuhe die ich bis jetz hatte! Und wie gesagt ich möchte nicht dass der Händler nun unter etwas leidet was Amazons verbocken war, ABeR ich weiß nicht wem seine Schuld es ist, und möchte eine ehrliche Bewertung abgeben und da gehört es dazu das zu erwähnen weil es eben doch von haendler aus sein kann, und dass sich auch jeder bewusst ist dass es wahrscheinlich ausgetauscht werden würde oder nicht, aber das ich darüber keine Meinung geben kann weil ich selbst den nerv dafür nicht hatte! 50euro Sole oder 1-2wochen Arbeit und Stadt fahren, Sprit und Zeitverlust und Stress und dies und dass um es ausgetauscht zu bekommen ist es mir echt nicht wert! Also bedenkt bitte über Reklame oder Austausch oder Ursprung des Problems kann ich keine Auskunft geben, lediglich den Hinweis dass es sein kann dass der Schuh euch ohne innen Sole geliefert wird, Dh habt vllt eine Reserve :D

Sitzt perfekt, kein Scheuern, kein Reiben

Ich habe die Schuhe aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen bestellt. Schon beim Anprobieren hatte ich das Gefühl, sie sitzen perfekt. Man hat ein bisschen das Gefühl als hätte man einen Skischuh an, aber so soll es ja auch sein, dass man guten Halt im Knöchelbereich hat. Zum "Einlaufen" bin ich mit den Schuhen direkt mal auf den Brocken hoch. Allerdings auch immer mit guten wandersocken in den Schuhen. Wieder zu Hause angekommen war ich kaputt und müde, hatte aber keine Blasen oder wunde Stellen an den Füßen, nicht mal eine leichte Rötung. Von daher: top Schuhe mit klarer Kaufempfehlung!

Tabla de tallas no sirve para escoger talla correcta

Las botas se ven super bien, pero me quedan enormes. Seguí la tabla de tallas, mi pie pide 27 cm y según la tabla de tallas corresponde a 43 2/3 EU. Me quedaron enormes, casi dos centímetros de más. Así que las he tenido q devolver :( . He pedido unas 42EU esperando que me queden mejor, porque no puedo tener ayuda de la tabla de tallas que aparece.

Größe passt

Hab ihn in Gr. 40 bestellt da Salomon meist zu klein schneidet. Bei DIESEM Modell würde meine normale Schuhgröße 39 aber passen. Hab ihn leider nicht mehr bekommen in 39. Optisch und haptisch ein perfekter Bergschuh.
