way better than a "bath ball"

I looked and looked for a good bath filter, but all I found was a "bath ball" that hung precariously from the faucet by a rubber band or string, and soon fell apart -- then I found the Sprite dechlorinating bath salts -- yay!! Problem solved; I just pour a cap-full into the stream from the faucet and the little crystals (not blue, by the way) take care of the chlorine. I had some doubts the first time I bought these; I'm chemically sensitive, so I can really tell the difference between a bath with chlorine and one without; and I found these really do work. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! Added comment March 2014: I see there are comments about the jar being different from the picture. I should have mentioned that before. This one actually comes in an unlabeled plastic ginger-jar shaped container. There's another offer on Amazon that actually sends the container that is pictured. They hold approximately the same amount. I buy whichever one is the better price at the time, and keep the ginger jar on display. The ginger jar cap is a little more than twice as big as the other container's cap. Use one cap full of the other container, and a little less than 1/2 a cap full from the ginger jar. It works out to approximately 30 baths per container, which makes the price not bad at all.

bought these for baths

our city water is highly chlorinated and we can smell it as the water fills up in the toilet, the washer, the sink, and, of course, the bathtub. it's really awful at times, hence, my wife can't enjoy her bath (skin is dry and rough). We've tried various bath oils, bath salts, I even purchased bath balls for the past few years (which helped, but was about 70% effective). So, in desperation, I decided to try this product. She's been using it for about 2 weeks and swears by it. She puts a capful in the bath and that seems to suffice. Of course, your water hardness may require more or less crystals. p.s., yes, this product is not "blue"; crystals are colorless (white); the label clearly states that the crystals are free of "any perfumes or dyes". --update-- my wife still likes this for her baths after several weeks of use; I bought three more jars, and I add a capful to the washer when I smell heavy chlorine odor. not sure if it helps but it cant hurt!

Did not fully dissolve

This product did slightly reduce the chlorine in the bath however not enough. The product also did not fully dissolve and left a gritty feeling at the bottom of the tub.

Not as pictured

This is the second time I bought these bath salts for dechlorinating. The first time they came as pictured, but this time they were in a round unmarked jar for some strange reason. Fortunately, I still had the first container in the recycle bin, so I put the bath salts in that one, which is more useful, having a handle and the cap which is used for measuring. Other than the container, I like the bath salts and think they do a good job, although I also use filters and vitamin C tabs in the hopes of really getting the chemicals out of the water.

Cholrine is bad

Any one who takes a bath even children needs to use this. Chlorine is horrible for the body. Look it up. One needs to also drink water without chlorine or fluoride. Fluoride is a neurotoxin. Chlorine is horrible for skin/hair/nails. Look it up about chlorine and fluoride. Use toothpaste with xylitol not fluoride. Do not get fluoride treatments at dentist.

In different container/no label

This was sent in a clear plastic jar with no instructions as to how much salt to put in the tub. They only mentioned the size of the container which was 10" x 8" x 6" and the jar was much smaller in size then what the discription was. I called the manufacturer and they stated that the plastic jar contained the same amount as the plastic jug with label (pictured). Something is not feeling right here.

Works great for infant

Works great for my 6 month old babies eczema. I also bought sprites tub faucet attachment filter (but not from amazon) and are using both at the same time. My baby's skin is much better now.
