Size not as expected.

Threads not 1-1/2" long as expected. A simple diagram on the listing would prevent so many problems. I originally bought the brand on the right (1-3/8) that was just a bit too short for my purpose. That brand measured at the threads. So ordered this one instead since it was an 1/8 longer and should have been perfect. Both are identical. This one was measured by total length and not the threads. Appears to be good quality but no standardized method of measurement. Perhaps this will help someone in the future.

Great for heavy RV drawers that won't stay closed while in motion

There's a large drawer under the bunks in our RV that was opening while in motion and causing carnage on the opposing wall. The two drawer catches that were meant to hold it worked fine when there was nothing in it, but it's a huge drawer and when loaded with all the kids' clothes, physics took over. Using this latch and some creative application tactics, I was able to make it so that the drawer stays put. You need to be relatively handy and willing to "risk" drilling large holes in your RV's interior to make this work, but if you have those skills the result is fantastic. Now the hard part - teaching the kids to lock the drawer before we roll out...

worked great on cabinet drawers that would come open while traveling

I used these for some drawers that would come open while driving our motorhome down the road. Prior to traveling, we simply closed the latch and no drawers would come open while traveling. I only put these on a couple of drawers that were a little heavy and didn't latch very well and would spill open while traveling. They fit the 3/4" wood drawer front and latched on the cabinet stiles or rails and are easy to unlatch or latch as needed.
