Best spackle
So far have used this to smooth out paint layers transitions on an 80 year old interior door after I scraped away a few sections of cracking paint and also to fill in gouges and craters in trim elsewhere. Best spackle I've ever used. The consistency is great for these vertical jobs. Dries white. Sands extremely well (I waited about 1.5 hours but 1 hour is probably sufficient before sanding). Strong smell when the can is open, so kept window open w/ small fan for exhaust. Used two putty knives, narrow one and wide one and cleaned off easily with baby wipes. Some descriptions online say cleanup with mineral spirits but can says with soap and water. Can opens and closes easily. I suggest using a freebie paint store paint can opener rather than a screwdriver to open it, in order to keep it easy to press back down snug. As others have said, I wish I knew about this product years ago.

Nice product
I was hoping this would be exactly what I needed. It was very easy to use. My only complaint was it cracked after a short time.

Good Product
A bit hard to spread, but no shrinking, it dries pretty quickly, dries solid and easy it's easy to sand. Can't speak yet to the durability b/c I've not seen the performance over too much time. Used it outdoors.

Great Patch
Has gotten very expensive and can be hard to find. Works well for all types of interior and exterior patches. Deep depressions require multiple layers to fill. Easy to sand. Can smooth when applying by dipping putty knife in water. Apply stain blocking primer over patch to prevent flashing or bleed through in finish coat

My New Favorite!
This stuff is amazing!!!! It’s thick like putty, and dries fairly quickly. I’ve used it to patch wood and walls. It takes paint okay-I find I have to apply 2 fairly thick coats to have it seamlessly blend in with the rest of the surface area even after sanding. This is my new go to for patching almost anything. It’s thick, so doing large patch jobs for plaster is tiresome and overkill, but it doesn’t shrink and adds a sturdiness to ‘the fix’ that regular joint compound or spackle doesn’t provide. The downside is the smell. You don’t notice it offhand, however, after leaving the room and coming back-the odor is a strong chemical fume that is probably best not to inhale. Open windows when using this stuff.
