I have thick hair, so I never thought that volume was an issue. After watching a You Tube Video Host swear by Velcro rollers, I decided to give them a try. Here is what I do. After drying, I create sections of hair and use a flat iron to smooth and heat. I then use a roller on that section before moving on to the next one. This takes about two minutes. I work fast. I leave the rollers in for ten or fifteen minutes and when I remove them, I have the perfect bob. Honestly, this is a no brainer!

Seems Better Than Others For Fine Straight Hair
I have long straight, very fine hair. I fear using too much heat since my hair is so fine. I've heard Velcro rollers are the best for volume with no heat, which is what I desperately need. I've tried Velcro rollers and decided right away they were not for me as they pull and rip so much hair when taking them out and they always seem to create more static. UNTIL these Drybar rollers. They roll up perfectly and are lightweight, but I noticed the difference when taking them out. Just like all Velcro rollers, you'll feel some tugging but my hair came out so much easier, no static and no ripping. The large sizes help give so much volume for long straight hair. I purchased one set and then ordered a second set the very next day. I also use these on 2nd and 3rd day hair. I spray some heat protectant on the hair strand before rolling, then use the diffuser on my blow dryer to set. I am so thrilled to finally find Velcro rollers that work on my fine hair.

First time use was easy!
I decided to get curtain bangs two months ago and I wanted to style them daily. So I bought these rollers, I was expecting their to be a learning curve using them but my first time using them they worked great! They are self grip but for extra security you can use clips to keep them in place for longer periods of time. I personally use the biggest size for my bangs and they are my favorite things ever!

So easy to use, put them in while doing makeup and give just enough volume. I did have to purchase clips to hold them in place as I have shoulder length hair.

Great product but does not stick very well to hair
I like this product. However, it doesn’t seem to stick well to my hair so I sometimes have to use a Bobby pin to keep it in place. Other than that it’s a pretty good product!

These are nice velcro rollers. I think if the largest had only been 2" or 2.25" the set would have been better. The biggest rollers, even though I have long hair, are too big to make a curl. It doesn't even provide much lift. The smaller rollers at 1.75" are a better fit overall. Pricey for what they are, but the yellow is cheery and they are good rollers to get that 90's blow-out look.

I bought these to add some dimension to my hair for my friend's wedding and it's my first time trying velcro rollers! I'm still learning how to use them and give my hair added volume, particularly at the roots, but the first time I used these I loved the result! For some reason, I haven't been able to successfully recreate it since but I'm determined to figure out what it was that made it work so perfectly the first time. I have lots of long and fine hair so I'm just barely able to get all my hair done with 2 boxes of these. If you have lots of thick hair I'd suggest getting 3 boxes. I'm not sure what the average price for a set of decent velcro rollers is but I think since you have to buy more than one box to roll all your hair that the price it's at should come with 2 boxes instead of just 1.

Love the rolls. Give perfect volume and curls. A bit expensive for only 6 rolls though! You’d need to get 2 packs if you’re looking to do all your hair.

These are my first set of rollers I’ve ever bought so I don’t have much to compare to however they are fantastic quality and do exactly what they’re meant to do. They have amazing hold but don’t tangle your hair. Has just enough resistance for grip and they pull off air easily without making a mess. Really love these!
