Here is how to put it on the deck.

Very nice hose stand, sturdy, reliable and priced right. This is the second one I buy. Here is a tip to put it on the deck. Use only the top half of the hose stand. I used a spare umbrellas base as the stand base. You can buy a 1.5x1.5 lumber and shape it as a pole to connect the hose stand and the base. A 1.5" PVC pipe might also do the trick I guess. Drill a hole on the pole at the proper position on the base end so you can screw the knob on the base all the way in to stabilize the pole. I didn't drill holes on the hose stand end because the square lumber already fits quite well in the hose stand. It works pretty well.

Just what we needed

This is perfect for what we needed. The stand is 2 piece and it clicks into place and has some slop to it. My concern that with this being steel that it will rust over time due to it moving around. It is great for the price and does what we need. So we are happy.

Great hose and water system

This is our second one if these. We use them to not only extend the use of our hoses but to have a completely separate shut off connection. The first one has been working perfectly for over 2 years and we decided to purchase another one for the opposite side of the house as well. East setup, sturdy and reliable, the best one of all we have tried.

Make sure there's no roots.

This saved me a lot of steps as I have no water in the front garden. I keep it hooked up to a hose. All I have to do is turn it on Awesome

Not decorative, but it works

We have used all kinds of hose reels and every one was disappointing because they either didn't hold a long hose, were insufficiently sturdy, fell apart immediately, or just didn't work well. I finally decided to just get a hose holder and forget about a reel, so I researched for one that would be sturdy and wouldn't stand out too much (our HOA is incredibly picky about appearances). I also wanted one from an American company, and most of the ones I found were made in......China. I'm still not sure about this one - I think the company, which is a U.S. company, says they are made in Mexico or some other place that isn't China. That said, the holder is sturdy, you can get it in a couple of colors, one of which matched our stucco, and holds a 150 ft. 1/2 inch diameter hose with no problem.

Garden Hose Hanger with Faucet

Very sturdy and well constructed. Only wish that there was a guard on the back of the hanger to keep hose from falling off the backside; not a big issue, but would be nice.

Great for a hose extension!

Our water spigot is more towards the back of the house and having to lug 200 ft of water hose to the front is exhausting. I found this and it’s honestly been life changing! Now I can turn the main spigot on and the post has its own that turns on so We could connect a lighter weight smaller hose to use in the front yard. The post is light yet very sturdy. We have it staked into the ground right now but plan on mounting it and using PVC for the water line. Also we haven’t had any leaks for people wanting to know.
