Worth it

So first off I'll begin by saying I'm not a child ( at least not in age) and was very pleased with the film adaptation of Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. Being as the film just came out there are very few costumes and items available which is to be expected until it gets closer to Halloween time. I looked at the other mask which is for adults and began reading the reviews which were mostly good but many of them said while the quality of the mask was fair for the asking price it had one major flaw which was the size. Many of the users said that unless you had a bigger head the mask was kind of loose and didn't fit right. Being as I wear a size 7 hat I decided to take my chances with the child mask in hopes to avoid this. I ordered on Saturday and got it today (Monday) which I was really please about. I was nervous about opening it thinking maybe that I had wasted 25 dollars on a mask which was way too small. I was pleasantly surprised to find the mask fit perfectly. It does however differ from the picture which is displayed. The two slits on the side are not cut out like depicted but can be easily modified if it really bothered you that much. The mask is made of rubber, not plastic and is very flexible, which is great in case you maybe misjudged the size of your head. Lastly it has no chin strap which I was glad to see. For 25 dollars it was a pretty good deal as opposed to paying 5 dollars less for the adult mask and have it be way too big and have to butcher it in hopes of a tighter fit. If you dig the way Bane looks in the movie and want a pretty cool mask for a good price but aren't as jacked as Tom Hardy then drop the cash on this mask. You won't be disappointed!

Great for the Price

This is a great value for the price, but will arrive smooshed flat and need time to be rounded back out. As with most masks, it will need about a week to air out. The painting job obviously doesn't get time to dry before it goes in the package since mine had two parts glued together by dried paint after being smashed together. However, it didn't ruin the paint job and it's decently painted. It has rounded out quite well, but the edges are fairly sharp and will need some personal customization and attention. The cheek slots weren't cut out, so you may need to do some touch-up with an Exacto blade. It's definitely too small for the average-to-larger male adult, but perfect for women. Might be a little large on younger children, but still a lot of fun. :D

In need of a paint job then your good to go

For ten dollars this is the best mask you can buy. Especially seeing as how it will fit most people's heads like it is supposed to, really really tight. The paint is well awful and i really don't know what picture they looked at when they were making it but it is fixable. I used a silver and black sharpie and colored to look more like tom hardy's mask. the only other thing i migth do to alter it is to cut out holes on the side to make it look more like the real thing. If you are older, ie you have a bigger head, your cheeks might "spill out" over the top a little but it is not very noticeable. So overall if you have some sharpies you can make this thing look almost as good as the 300 dollar ones on ebay.

The mask isn't bad but it isn't good. I bought it for 13 bucks so I knew it wasn't going to be an amazing movie replica mask. The mask is made of rubber for anyone wondering. The reason I gave it a 3 is due to two factors: -It looks NOTHING like the picture -The paint job is really bad. Again I know what to expect for 13 bucks but I've bought plenty of masks in the past worth 10 bucks and they're pretty nice. The paint job didn't stay in the lines lol. They even missed some parts to paint. Even though the paint job made me mad when i got it I did however have fun coloring the missing parts with a sharpie :) Also the hole in the side of the mask isn't there. You can probably do it yourself with a knife if you're up for it. If you want to look like Bane and not spend much get this mask(I'd recommend the kids mask if your head isn't that big.The adult one is HUGE). If you're looking for a movie replica mask for an affordable price this really isn't gonna make you happy.

Reasonable.

The price for this is about right for the quality. It is made of very durable latex that holds up nice. As for the paint job, all I can say is terrible. I bought the mask for myself (20 year old male) and it was more than a bit tight (I wear a size 7 1/2 hat). So what I did was deflated a basketball, put the mask over it, re-inflate the basketball (3/4 of the way) and took a hair dryer to it so it would heat up and retain the stretched size. Now it fits snug but comfortable. I also painted it with acrylic paints while on the basketball, for a much better look, comparable to the movie. I am happy with the final outcome, and plan on turning lots of heads at the huge Halloween party this year.

its good for the price

First off this mask is completely flexible thin latex I thought the front would be hard plastic of solid but it is all thin latex, so for the price it isnt bad. I am 22 it was a very tight fit so i made a small cut in the back and then loosely sewed it up to keep it from ripping and it fit great. So all in all for the price if you just want something that looks decent for the night it will get the job done if you want to go to comic con and have it look movie worthy you may want to look else were

Kind of tight it did the job.

I read the reviews that the larger mask would be too big for my head so I went ahead and tried the kids size mask. I'm a woman and my head is pretty large but no larger than a small males head for sure and this mask was very tight. I had to cut a slit in the back to make it work and it did, but as I took off and on the mask, the side did rip a bit and it wasn't even where it was cut. My job had a super hero theme so it did the trick, but if you know you have a slightly larger head than average get the adult. It your head is the size of a small 10 yr old, then kids size is the winner.

Very good!

As a 23 year old female adult, I ordered this mask worrying that the adult might be too large (I was right). The child's mask fit well! It was quite tight around the cheeks and the bridge of my nose, but that was somewhat expected. Unfortunately, it was most difficult to take off and on, leading to a pretty bad tear on the right side of the mask that grew bigger every time I put it on. Tape barely held to the plastic and safety pins tore right through it. Once I had it on I has to secure myself into it. A bit of improvisation but overall, the mask looked great! For the price, I was extremely happy with the look and satisfied with the quality.

I AM BANE

Like most people purchasing this, I ordered this because the mens was too large for my face! It fits perfectly. I was a little concerned when people kept saying the mask has a really strong scent to it but it was no stronger then a mild plastic toy. I didnt find it to bother me at all it was quite faint smelling. I AM BANE
