Durable and stable

I feel that this step stool is made well, and the company has been around for a while to... but I like it that it's easy to lift and set up and I don't have to worry about it collapsing.

So easy!

This is very easy to fold and takes up no additional space against a wall for the handle as that fits flat. It's also no heavier than it has to be and is very sturdy.

Works well but a little flimsy

It is as described size wise but doesn't seem to be the most sturdy. It is advertised to support up to 225lbs, however I am only 100lbs max and it seems to wobble a little when I get to the top step. Not exactly shake or move around, but you can feel the steps. Maybe this is just due to the quality, the steps feel thin and give in a little the higher you get. Seems to work, but not sure how long it would hold up for. I do really like the paint hole and little tray, this makes it more accessible when doing work. This is also slightly heavier than other ladders I've had, so just be aware.

Nice STURDY and SECURE step stool for household use.

I like just about everything about this. Once opened and 'engaged' it won't collapse to it's folded shipping position until you press a button n the top. the "handle" is a soft, non-slip place to provide a secure step up and I really like using this. no negatives whatsoever!

Very sturdy and overall a good product

The Rubbermaid stepladder is able to fold easily and is a very great product. I feel safe standing on the highest step reaching things on the top cabinet. It has a handle that you can grip to balance. The only thing is that it is heavy, but it's because it is made of metal and that makes sense if you want something sturdy and to hold your entire body weight. I would definitely recommend buying this product if you are looking for a reliable step ladder.

Good Quality

The step ladder was delivered very quickly. Its sturdy, well made and easy to open and close. It gives me just enough extra height to get to what I need to in the kitchen. My only complaint is the four large globs of glue they used to affix the Rubbermaid sign on the step. When I pulled the label off I had to work to get the remaining paper stuck to the glue and then had to use goo gone to get rid of the sticky residue. I don't see why it is necessary to go to those measures to affix a thin piece of paper.

I find this step to be very sturdy.

I was concerned that I might not be able to reach the top shelf of the cupboards because of the handle at the top but it is perfect. The handle does not interfere with the step being close enough to my lower cupboards to allow me to safely reach the upper cupboards. The step folds up and fits perfectly in the space beside my fridge. I have some disabilities so I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with this step and how much of a help that it is!

Very sturdy and will do the job

A very study item. Insofar as how heavy it is to pick up and move....if you were perhaps older or a smaller person, you may find it a bit heavy. But it is very well made, sturdy and secure. The foot step pads are a nice size. It is nice that it has rubber feet for the floor. Having a grab handle at the top is also a nice feature. This will be great for a safe ascent to those high shelves.
