Good barn boots
There's some arch support which is comfy for me. Really extra wide, which I like. I'm size 10 and half. 11's, in other brands, fit well. I ordered a size 10 for this brand.

Roper Barn Boots
I like these boots for working in the barn for spring into fall; but they would be cold in any place with a real winter. They run about a size large as I wear 9.5 US and often order 10s in shoes that do not come in half sizes. This was a good thing as 10s were sold out but the 9s were still available. After reading other reviews I took a chance and they fit fine even with heavy socks. Pros: light weight, easy to slip on and off, neoprene uppers are more breathable than plastic/rubber and much more comfortable yet waterproof, price- hard to beat for 50.00. Cons: No toe protection (If your working around large animals be forewarned it is going to hurt if you get stepped on), No arch support, non aggressive sole pattern (con as you may be more pron to slippery conditions but a pro in that they do not hold a lot of mud to track into your house or mud room). all in all I will give them 4 stars but order a size smaller than you normally wear.

Absurdly too large.
It's a shame to have to return what is really a very good product. BUT...is about two sizes to large. I read the many reviews warning of this, but I ordered my regular shoe size anyway, reasoning (incorrectly) that surely after the outpouring of complaints they would have corrected the problem. Apparently the maker does not care. So, back they go.

Nice boots.. Good value, but sizing a problem.
Other than trying to figure out the correct size, these boots are great. This is the second pair we've purchased. My husband takes a size 10 1/2 EEE shoe. The first time we ordered the boots we thought the size 10 should work because reviewers said they ran large and to order a size down from your regular size. Well the 10's were still too large so we returned them and ordered the size 9 which was good. This time we ordered a size 9 and they were a little tight; so we had to return them for the size 10 which are now somewhat large. My husband really likes the boots though and didn't want to try another brand. I decided to buy a set of inserts for the bottom of the boots which should help tighten them up a little.

Best in comfort and value to work the coop.
Wear them daily to use in chicken coop. They fit fine for my size 11. This is my second pair ln the last 4 years , but they are lighter in weight , cost less , and slip on and off a lot easier than other brands I've tried.

A little large
I am a size 8.5 EE. From the reviews, I bought the size down (Size 8). I still have a lot of wiggle room and I am sliding a little, even with extra thick/heavy wool socks. I may have to add another small sock or something to push my foot forward in the boot. Otherwise, the product is awesome. Well built. I have alright used them outside and are great for mucking out stalls. They are comfortable, despite being a little big. I only wish they made half sizes, I would have ordered a 7.5. They do fit a wide foot too.

Don't expect uppers to last long.
The good: The foot part is tough and long lasting. The soles tend not to collect mud. The bad: The "insole" is a paper thin joke. The uppers may last a year; they they come apart near the finger holes. I did not buy similar Muck boots because I thought they only came with mud catching soles, but i think they have some with ripple soles now. You might want to look into it.

not worth the money
Bought two sets for my son and I and with in the first month he had holes in the bottom and side and the stitching on my pair is coming out. too late to return. This was normal use around the acreage. Cant believe Roper put their name on these cheap boots.
