Attractive and strong
I like the curtain rods. I ordered six one up to 170 inches, 2 up to 120 inches, and three up to 84 inches. I have installed the longest. For my purposes I am hanging sheer curtains 108 inches long on a 9 foot ceiling. So far the only sheers that I have on hang are hung. The back sheers are white – 8 - 59 inch wide sheers to cover three widows on a long wall – 134 from the beginning of the first window to the end of the last window. My rods span roughly 150 inches with overhang on either side of the bank of windows. Both the inside and outside rods are the same diameter 13/16ths for the center rod and 11/16ths for the outside rods. (The same variance is applicable for the smaller length rods.) The rods appear to be made of thin metal formed with a seam running the length of the rods versus a tube like a golf club with no seam. The long span has a three-rod construction with the center rod larger than the end rods. The difference is not noticeable to me when the rods are installed. The large set comes with four support brackets. The brackets are roughly twice as thick as those you normally get. They are not bendable by my hand and appear to be strong enough to hold more weight than most curtains would be. I suspect that the brackets would pull out of the wall before failing. The weak point is the small screw fastening construction. The screws provided are small diameter. The mollies are to small to be useful. If you are not drilling and screwing into wood, you will need to upgrade the mollies and screw. The minimal cost is worth it. When measuring the placement of the brackets, I positioned the bracket against the wall and ceiling, drew a pencil mark under the bottom of the bracket and another at the low point of the screw hole in the bracket. I then marked the center position between those marks. Why? If you try and screw the bracket in with the bracket positioned touching the ceiling it will be difficult to get the screwed in bracket in position and it will make installing the rods and curtains a nightmare. Using my method you can easily drop the rods in position from the top down. Note: screw the top screw in the wall without the bracket in position. Screw in the screw until it approximates the thickness of the bracket. Slide the bracket over the screw. If the bracket is not snug, take the bracket off and tighten the screw a bit more. Once the bracket is in position and secured, screw in the bottom screw. The bottom supports nothing it only keeps the bracket in position, so you can screw it directly into the wall without a mollie. If you manage to get the brackets flush with the ceiling you will. Have to slide the rods into the brackets from either end. Then you have to deal with whatever curtains you are working with. I played with various curtain hanging techniques. First I used rings with clips on the sheers, as they were in my bedroom. (Remember I have not received the curtains which will go up yet. I’m experimenting.) The curtains drape on the floor like my daughter thinks is nice. I think - hmm when I vacuum I’ll either suck them up with the beater bar or have to lift them while I vacuum under them. Option 2 thread the rods through the top curtain pocket. That saves buying more rings, but still leaves the curtains on the floor. The last method I used was to thread the rods through the second curtain rod pocket. That works famously in my opinion. The curtains are not touching the floor, but are close to both the floor and the ceiling. Photo 1 view of what the stuff looks like Photo 2 big picture – you may see curtain options 2 and three as one orange curtain is lower. Photo 3 floor shot Packaging. I suspect the vender got a bunch of complaints about damage in the past. The set includes extra plastic end cap inserts. Individual rods are secured with spacers which prevent the rods from touching each other. The brackets, hardware, and finals are all packaged separately, while being enclosed in thick plastic. Basically, you get everything or nothing. Individual pieces cannot be lost when shipped. Packaging is over kill. Each rod was packed in a large box. Remember I ordered 6 sets of various lengths? All six could have been shipped in the box with the longest rod set. Instead I received six various sized oversized boxes. Just to be fair. One of the rods had to go back. I was shipped the wrong color. Amazon is shipping the correct one. I have also ordered two additional rods sets. Last photo

Damaged merchandise
Waited for my curtainrod to arrive so I could install it and hang my new curtains. I should have checked the package upon its arrival but the items were well wrapped and the box was not damaged. To make a long story short, bottom line is that the rod was damaged (smashed) where it fits into the other piece of the rod and there were no screws for the middle support bracket. Also, one of the brackets was was bent. It looks to me that this rod was a returned item, not a new one. I wound up paying around $100.00 for a damaged product. I would have definitely returned the rod, but the person who had come to install my rod and hang my drapes was the one who discovered the damages and missing parts. I would have had to reschedule and I wanted to go ahead and get the work done. Bottom line is I paid too much for a "damaged" item. The person hanging the rod worked around the problems. Buyers be sure to check your package upon arrival even though everything looks to be okay. May save you some headaches.

Solid and elegant.
I purchased the brushed-nickel rods. The rods are sturdy and thick and marry together well. The brackets are equally solid and have a very good depth from the window to allow o-ring style curtains. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

Durability is good
This looks pretty and is nice and solid. After a while if the kids messing with the curtains I can see they are wanting to start to bend. But we have already had them for a couple years and my kids and all the kids through my place are really rough and tumple so they hold up well. It took six months for them to trash the set before this 1

The poles are pretty durable and the designs for the tips are pretty ...
These rods work well for their intended use. The poles are pretty durable and the designs for the tips are pretty nice. The downsides to these rods however... Are that the joints that hold them together are a pain to slide the curtain ribgs over, and often times I have to yank a little more than i want. Not the end of the world but an annoyance. As criticism, maybe shave the plastic pieces that you connect the rods so its not so thick. My other issue is the hardware that comes with the rods. You are paying for a rod set that isnt necessarily cheap... But the anchors and screws that come with a dual rod are not right for a dual rod, if you do plan to use a curtain and sheer buy better anchors, or you notice the anchors start to pry out of the wall

Nice.
It's nice. The color in the photo is accurate. My disappointment is in the depth of the curtain rod from the wall. It comes out so far that when you look at the rod from the side, there is like a two inch gap. I don't understand why it is designed like this. If this is not a concern, I would say buy it. I tend to be more particular then most. If it weren't for the gap and the size of the fineal, I would give it 5 stars.

not very impressed
these are cheap. and I mean CHEAP. the material is very thin. the finish scratches ridiculously easily. it goes together just fine, but the installation hardware (screws) are absolute junk. definitely put decent screws in it. not really worth the money.

cheap product at high price
the rod feels like plastic, i ordered two sets but had to return one cause it was dented. i keep wondering if it is going to snap soon after installing it. the cocoa ornament looks very cheap. it’s definitely not worth $120. very disappointed. will never buy this brand again.
