Good value

I thought I should have read the reviews before I ordered this curtain rod. But, I’m glad I ordered it. I had to watch a YouTube video for installation instructions, but I was able to put it up myself. It’s a great value for the price. I have a large window area and I was quoted $4,000 for window coverings (rod, sheers, and drapes) because they had to make the “custom” rod since it was a large area. One rod had a small dent and minor scratches on one of the ends. But, the sheers and drapes cover everything. I bought everything on Amazon for $250.00!!

Looks like photo, tricky to install

Looks just like the photo. The instructions for installation weren't very clear, and I had to just figure out some parts through trial and error. Ended up having to purchase and use different hardware than what was provided. Now that it is up, I am fairly happy with it.

Very nice quality metal bars

Very nice quality metal bars, sturdy even at full extension. Inspect the bars after receipt for damage. One of my packages had a dent in the bar and the plastic end caps were scuffed up.

Good Rods, but Cheap Brackets that bend under the smallest weight...

If I was only reviewing the rods themselves, this would be 5 stars. They are simple and sturdy...exactly what I needed (fully hidden from view with my drapery choice). The brackets, however, have no business being sold to support the 120-170 inch rods. At a minimum, you need a 5th one in the middle. Frankly, the metal is so flexible...any curtains except perhaps sheers will bend them down. I'm replacing the four they sent with heavy duty ones for an additional cost of about $30. These are hung at ceiling height and run the entire length of our outside wall...and the middle two brackets have already bent downward.

Bracket

The bracket should've been designed with another brace to help support the weight. The metal is already bending a bit, and the leverage from outer curtain has pulled the bracket from the wall once within the first week. We currently plan to modify it with proper braces, rather than return it, because the hardest part of placing it on the wall is done... and we have the ability to know how to improve it. Also, the overall appearance is pleasing.

cheap plastic finials

They service their purpose. They look okay at a distance. The end caps (finials) look cheap, made out of plastic. The smaller end caps came scratched & nicked up. The larger end caps look more like a light gold than nickel. I called Rod Desyne regarding these issues. The only thing they offered was to sell me replacements for $10 & $18 plus shipping costs. They told me to deal with Amazon. Amazon doesn't sell those parts & offered to replace entire rod & hardware. I didn't have the time to spare & wait another 1 to 2 weeks.

Pretty finish. Easy to mount.Sturdy enough with center support to hold medium weight blackout curtains with sheers.

Good quality but not steady enough

We tried with 160 in width and it’s not steady enough, we have to use it on another window about 100 inch width and it’s working very well
