Nice curtain rods but overpriced

Nice looking, but expensive for what you get (mainly plastic). Mine also came a bit dented in a few spots, but the curtains will cover that. Also the end caps are 100% plastic and don’t screw onto the rods very evenly. You can’t tell from far away but the quality is just meh.

NOT Overpriced if you know what you're paying for....

I saw a lot of reviews saying that these were overpriced, but I beg to differ. They are more expensive than your typical curtain rods, but if you're hanging blackout curtains adn sheers, those things can get VERY heavy. You're paying for the sturdiness and reliability. I bought a dozen cheaper models over the last couple of years and each one fell out of the wall or was brought down by the weight of the curtains. These are VERY stable and can handle the weight. Pay the extra money for these if you're going for blackout curtains.

Pretty but over priced

These are pretty but the ends are plastic. I own other Rod Desyne curtain rods and the ends are solid, heavy good quality. I got these used like new for 32 the 170 inch ones if I had paid full price I would have sent back

Worked well for my space

Bends a little in the center if you use only 3 brackets instead of all 4 that comes with. I wanted to use only 3 for the look I was going for so not really a product problem.

Weak

I ordered this rod because it was one of the few I could find that were the length I needed. One of the metal poles came with a dent although we just turned it so the dent faces the wall. The main issue is the brackets. They are very weak and bend under the weight of the rods and curtains. The entire rod and drapes actually fell from the wall, taking pieces of our wall with it. We ended up ordering stronger brackets and installed those with this rod. This product is fine as is for sheer or very light curtains. If you plan to hang very large, heavy curtains, buy sturdier brackets separately.

Horrible packaging and overpriced

Product arrived dented and packaged poorly. Installation was easy enough, but would recommend using different screws than the ones provided. Seems fairly sturdy, but it is overpriced.

Well worth the price!

Easy to install and thank heavens for a reasonably priced super long double rod.

Parts missing

We didn't hang the rods immediately but when we did, there were missing end caps for 1 rod and the wrong end caps for another rod.

The rods were bent

I received this double curtain rod and took out the brackets to check the size. They were too long for the space as I have a valance directly in front of my window where the brackets need to be hung. I spent two weeks searching for shorter brackets as I did not want to return the whole package. I did not find the correct brackets but a friend was able to cut a section out of these brackets and screw them back together to shorten them. After we installed the brackets, we opened up the rods only to find out that two of the smaller rod sections were quite bent so that they would not be able to slide inside the bigger rod. I could not return the package since we had already cut the brackets. Therefore we were forced to try and straighten out the curves and bends in the rods in order to hang them. All in all, this simple job took way to long to complete due to the difficulties. I would not buy this brand of curtain rod again.
