Handle is NOT flimzy!

You wasn't sure about ordering this product after reading some the other reviews, but the price was right. Received the product yesterday and assembled it. I noticed that the handle was a regular screw on type like most brooms and thought if the this handle broke, I could just use another handle. The handle is put together and tightened like a shower rod. It does take some strength to get parts REALLY tight. The head is perfect for what I wanted. Just something to rake in shampoo before cleaning the carpet with a rinse. Buy it, you'll be happy with the product for a reasonable price.

Works great

I was hesitant about this rake because the bristles are plastic instead of silicone but it picks up hair, dust, and fuzz perfectly!the handle is incredibly easy to screw together and is easy to dismantle and store if you live in a small place. I would buy this again or suggest it for others!

Surprisingly good

I was a little leary at purchasing this rake because it didn't look very sturdy. Its very light as well. But for the price I took a chance. So far I've raked the carpet in my whole house and its still in good shape. I have been pleasantly surprised.

If it’s put together right it works well.

Once I figured out how to assemble it it seems to be fine. As simple as it looks there should be instructions with this product. I think that’s why there are some reviews that say it comes apart. Seems to work well.

Makes carpet look brand new

This tool really helps when selling your home. It makes carpets look brand new and never stepped on.

Nicr product but requires alot of energy

The product is nice and sturdy but it requires a lot of time and energy to rake the carpet. I would not recommend as it's not something I would use on daily or weekly basis. I'll stick to vacuuming only.

so far working well for my matted carpet

My high pile rug was very flattened in the area where family members would always sit. This has made it look MUCH MUCH better. It still doesn't feel as plush as the other areas but it's better. i do think it's overpriced though

Don't Buy!

The Handle comes in three sections which screw together. The first time I used it it broke in two places, the collar on the second part and the screw mechanism which attached the first to the second. I presume this is made in China.

Works great

I have a low pile rug. I use the rake to scrub it when I shampoo it. Once it’s dried I use it again to give it a little fluff. It really makes a big difference. I find that the handle is flimsy though. I’m always afraid it will snap, it so far so good.

Works on thick carpets.

My extra thick carpets were beginning to look shaggy which was giving them a worn out look even though they were only 2 years old. This brush works really well to lift the pile and restore the look of the carpet by about 75% in heavy traffic areas.

it doesn't look built to last. but does a great job on my thick shag rugs. time will tell the quality of the plastic used.
