It survived!
I’ve used Rite in the Rain paper and notebooks for years for various purposes, especially while doing outdoor fieldwork. In October 2022, I decided to move entirely to Rite in the Rain paper for my daily planner and retire my other (popular) page-based planner system. I’ll skip over many of the details of my reasoning to make the change and just say that it made more sense for my current and immediate future needs for a planner system. I picked up the 9250T as I already had some paper that would fit, and the binder itself checked the boxes of what I was looking for. Settled into it pretty quickly with some ideas of turning out some custom pages that I could print out to fit my specific needs. I liked the size adding to the convenience of always having it close by or in hand and not being a burden to carry. It easily fits in my daily carry bag, my backpack, or a daypack that I use on some outings. It just fits. Sadly, I managed to drop my planner while getting out of my truck at home on a rainy night and it spent the night outside in a pretty heavy rain event. When found the next day I kicked myself while being thankful that I could expect most everything inside to be in far better shape than my prior solution. The interior certainly got wet, as evidenced by my business cards and a few various receipts being done for. The Rite in the Rain pages inside were still very legible with no running ink. I have been using the OR97 all-weather metal pen that uses the Fisher Space Pen technology as my primary writing instrument. I like that it is now offered in orange (The ‘OR’ of the ‘OR97’) as it stands out if (okay, when) I drop it in the field. I have found that I can write on the pages with a gel pen, but they streak easily and may not have held up under this event. End of the story is that I popped my planner in my dehydrator (an Excalibur 3926TB 9 tray if you must know) on about 115-120 to expedite drying. I lost a few pages in the back of the planner that were wrinkled beyond my liking, but the rest of the RitR pages and the planner itself came back like a champ. The planner is made in the USA by Tactical Tailor with the ‘Made in the USA’ part being one of the boxes I wanted to be checked when buying a planner. The structure got a bit soft in the dehydrator and had me worried that this thing was done for. I reached out to Rite in the Rain, and they were quick to respond, offering to replace the planner and ‘call tag’ the one I had for inspection. All it needed was an extra day to sort itself out, so I replied that I was happy with what I had and would not need a replacement or a call tag. 100% a positive experience with the product and Rite in the Rain customer service. Cannot recommend it enough. As a creature of habit, I expect to be a customer for years to come if they continue to make a high-quality, domestically produced product.

Lousy Description BUT Great Binder
The earlier reviewer has a valid issue. I have numerous Rite in the Rain items, and LOVE them. I carry one of their notebooks wherever I go and I really enjoy the fact the paper isn't wimpy. The problem with Amazon is they don't show any additional photos of this item and one must guess what is inside. This, like the last reviewer stated, may be just what I need...but how do I know? Amazon should do a better job with this description. I am now going back and revising this review. With the above paragraph I had rated it one star for the description. Now that I have one in hand I have started using it as my main binder. The interior is similar to the other tactical binder covers, except this one has a permanently mounted 1 inch ring binder attached inside to the spine of the notebook. The only problems I'm having is the rings don't mesh together as well as it possibly could partly due to the small holes in the paper and the need to have very small diameter rings which don't mess well and the paper's holes being so small the paper can snag as you leaf through your notes. Still it's not that big a deal and it's not really an issue. I like this binder a great deal as it has more than enough room to carry all the things I need. It only came with a hardened sheet which is like a plastic page which I used a label maker to put my name on it for identification and a plastic ruler which didn't stay in the binder well. It looks like the sort of ruler you'd get with the Franklin Covey binders. Overall it's a great binder and I'm now carrying it daily. I still like the smaller binder, however, as it has a better ability for me to leaf through the pages without snagging and due to the smaller diameter of the binder's rings (about 1/4 inch) I'm able to more easily write on both sides of the paper while in the binder. The larger binder's bigger rings get in the way with doing this so I have to pop the page out to write on the back side of a page. The smaller binder wasn't perfect because it was smaller. The larger one has some things to get used to, but I've ordered a set of unmarked tabs to go into the binder and this way I can separate different subjects. The main benefit is being able to use the older information as a resource. I don't use binders like these any longer for my calendar. Over the past few years I've carried a Palm Pilot, then a Blackberry and now an Iphone. I use this sort of thing for my contact database, internet, calendar, long-term note resource and phone. Paper, however, is still a good way to flesh-out projects or notes for a specific project or event. I had to step out in faith somewhat to use Rite in the Rain products and soon found I loved them. I have my Bible in one of their binder covers, the smaller binder in one of their covers and now the "Starter Planner Kit", along with smaller notebooks stashed in the car or a briefcase. Writing on Rite in the Rain paper, however, is more easily achieved (my experience) with a Sharpie and I use both Black and Red Sharpies for this purpose. I've found that ballpoint pens have not been as workable for the Rite in the Rain paper. But, I'm very happy overall with the products and it's a platform I'm going to be using daily. I work as a Realtor and serve as an elected official. I'm always having to take notes due to a phone call, etc. You won't find me too far from a Rite in the Rain notebook or pad as they hold up, aren't wimpy and whatever you write on them will be there later when you need it instead of wrinkling up, smudging or falling apart because of an unexpected coffee spill. Rite in the Rain depictions may need work, but their products are outstanding!

Worth the extra money.
Strong material, sturdy frame and a strong internal layout. Despite the organiser being relatively expensive in comparison to its competitors I'd suggest it's absolutely worth it. I've owned other brands folders similar to this that rip, become weak, aren't waterproof and on arrival end up being extremely tacky. It could be argued that it's not Tan in colour, it pretty much is but a bit darker than in the photos shown. Excellent binder.
If you are using Rite in the Rain loose leaf paper this is a must. Well made binder with several pockets for odds and ends.

Altamente recomendable
