Works very well in wind
I have this in my side by side. I have no doors. Was using it during the winter while plowing to keep my hands warm. I was surprised that even in strong blizzard like winds, it never went out.

Toasty
The Mr. Heater works as it should in terms of igniting and providing warmth in a covered golf cart. The only negative is the cup provided to mount the heater to the golf cart’s cup holder does not compensate for the top heaviness of the heater. When driving, it wobbles and cause the anti-tipping device to shut of the propane supply so you have to reignite the heater. I solved the problem by making a bracket and mounting it to the EZ-GO cowl and fastening a small bungee cord to secure the heater to the bracket. Problem solved!

Golf Cart Heater!
We put this in our golf cart when riding around the campground when its cold out. With our cover on it actually gets hot inside it! Fits good in the cup holder. It is definitely on the large size!

Mr. Heater is fabulous
I bought this product in September of 2022 along with a fully enclosed golf cart cover. My buddy's and I live in Massachusetts and play golf all winter long and this year the golf season didn't really end because we had no snowstorms so to speak, so these two items have already paid for themselves and If you live in the colder regions of the USA and play winter golf both of these items are a must have, it also has an oxygen depletion sensor which shuts the unit off so nobody dies of Co2 poisoning LoL. PEACE, hit em straight!!

Provides good heat
Provides good heat in our covered golf cart, however, it is top heavy in the cup holder, so we need a bungie cord to hold it in place, so it doesn't tip over. This was a replacement because our last one got dropped on the floor and broke. The price has gone up even thou it is the same heater as before. It starts easley and heats up fast. It is a game saver in the winter.

Got it for pre-heating my car this winter
Throws off the heat! If it's a bad winter, I want to get the inside of the car warmed while shoveling the snow around it, then start the car. Otherwise, it's for emergency purposes only. Why not just shovel the exhaust area first and start the car? Depending how the snow drifts, that may take more time than getting one door open. Besides, if it's a lot of snow I'll need a place to rest and warm up. I think it isn't practical for a small car's console cup holder because the heater is bigger than you'd think and top heavy. So I made a base for the back seat using a hard plastic milk crate with handles. I cut a rectangular piece of plywood to fit inside the crate. Then I cut a hole in the plywood big enough for an 4" diameter X 8" long piece of PVC pipe . This will hold the 1 lb. propane tank with heater stable and rotatable. A couple of bungee cords secure the crate to the fastened seat belts. After I turn it off and the unit cools, the tank can be unscrewed and stored with the heater in the crate. It's too soon for 5☆'s, so I'll re-visit the review when winter is over.

Works great outdoor and indoor
I was really surprised by this lil heater it did allot better than I expected. I really think it’s under rated for what it is. It kept me and a passenger in the golf cart without a cover warm and comfy also I used it wile camping and it heated a 13’x8’ space well enough. It is worth saying that it took some time to heat a small area. I would say about 15 mins. Also, it’s going to take away the chill from the cold enough that you’ll be ok with just wearing sweats but your not going to be completely warm and toasty without warm clothes on. It comes with a cup holder but it doesn’t hold too well unless something is wedged into the cup holder so I would recommend buying the aftermarket cup holder it works better. I like it and would definitely buy it again so I recommend it to someone looking to heat up small areas with something small and portable

Bought a cart cover and one of these heaters for golfing in cold weather. This heater is easy to operate, and keeps the cart toasty on cold, rainy, windy days. Love it!

Works good
Had to take the heater out of our SXS and this works perfect till we can get the new one installed. Bigger then what we thought it would be but all in all very satisfied with the way it works and doesn’t go out on bumpy trails

Heat for utv
I bought this for my side-by-side for a heat source instead of having to tear the bike apart to install a traditional heater. The unit is very easy to operate and provides great heat. Wish it had a hi/lo setting and that it was a little bit more slender. Really tight fit against the dash once placed in the cup holder...at least on my utv.

Would buy again.
I used it to heat the inside of a covered tractor during a recent snowstorm........almost too warm.......no controls so you had to turn it off when things got too warm.......it also bounced out of the cup holder once.....however it did the job. Might be more suited to heating an ice fishing hut or a smaller garden shed but I would certainly buy again.The best part is the price I paid through Amazon Warehouse Deals.This is the second time I have realized significant savings by purchasing a cosmetically damaged product.The only damage is usually to the packaging
