Works well, easy assembly
I like everything about it except I wish it put out a little more heat. Not bad and still worth the money. Just don't expect it to have a very wide heating range. I would recommend it for two people sitting by it.

Missing hose holder
Bought it as a ‘returned’ got all parts except the propane hose holder. Have to admit- took some time to assemble.

Nice and toasty!
Item arrived quickly and was very easy to assemble. Produces quite a bit of heat, so it’s nice and toasty sitting on the porch watching the sunset on these chilly California evenings (it has been in the low to mid 50s in the early evenings lately). This is a replacement for a less expensive tabletop heater and works more efficiently.

Great concept, poor execution
I love chimineas, but wanted something I could use that wouldn't smoke for a covered patio. I LOVED this product (in theory). I decided to bite the bullet and buy it anyway, despite the negative / critical reviews. I was tracking its price and saw it go really low earlier this fall so I jumped at the chance to pick it up. It definitely wasn't easy to put together. You need to 2 people, one to make sure that pieces line up and are held in place and the other to actually use the hardware to assemble. I didn't have a big issue with holes not lining up, needing to drill new holes - everything went together for the most part smoothly. If anything, some of the angles were really difficult because of how the thing goes together. I needed to get out my shortest screwdriver and put my arm / wrist / hand into some funky positions to get it all done. I did have one issue of things not fitting together - The decorative silver bar around the flame just wasn't shaped correctly. Everything fits together but one area, where I couldn't even bend the thing into shape to screw it in. (see photos). It isn't really noticeable, so it isn't a deal breaker in my opinion. It also arrived scuffed up. Packaging didn't really keep it from scraping up against itself while in transit. I also have some pretty big scratches / rust marks on the front of the base, which is pretty annoying. It's going to live outside and continue to get used / beat up. But it would have been nice to keep it pristine for as long as possible. So far my biggest issues are related to its mobility. There isn't a good way to pick the thing up and move it around. I don't want to leave it out all the time, I need to store it for the winter, etc. Because of its shape, there isn't really any natural handles or anything. It's also made out of really thin materials. This helps make it lighter, but I think the quality really suffers for it. I am going to see if I can replace the feet it came with with some locking casters so at least it is on wheels.

Great Design, Heats very well, Expensive.
This heater works very well. The design works well especially while being seated. I put it between me and my wifes chair and we both get great heating from it. The only drawback (other than the price) is the access to the propane tank valve is tight (versus a traditional tall heater).

Great for Limited Use
Great looking heater for tabletop use. Easy to assemble and easy to attach butane tank. I think with any heater using the 1 lb. tank, you’ll be limited in how long you can use it. This is a great option for those who occasionally need some heat on the patio for a limited time. Buy some extra tanks as backups.

Tedious to assemble.
I have a few things to say about the heater. Positives: First, it works great. Fired up on the first try. Secondly, it looks great and the fold down feature is what sold us. We have a lot of wind and lost a previous patio heater to the wind. The base is weighted (100 lbs). The heater and a full tank is pushing. 150 lbs. Thirdly, the instruction manual was very good. Fourthly, the offset of the heating portion is really nice as you ca position the tank portion out the way and still have the heater directly overhead for maximum comfort. Negatives: It’s a job to assemble. Hundreds of screw, nuts, bolts, washer and heater parts! The manual is very good but you will need 2 to 3 hours to put it together. I am a lifelong do-it-yourselfer and I spent two plus hours putting it together. The real negative for me is not that bad. It appeared to me from the photos and description that you could adjust the height of heater element up or down. You cannot. It is either up for use or down for storage and wind resistance. All in all we are satisfied. It seems to be really well made. My four star rating should be 4.5 but you can’t do that.

Great Porch Heater
Nice heater. We ordered this because of the swing arm. The only issue we had was the height. We thought since it had the swing arm it would be low enough to use on our screened in porch. Because of the height we had to take it apart to shorten the height. It works well and we like that we can swing the arm over to have the heat directly overhead or off to the side.

Fantastica
