Fits very well in a rustic or farmhouse decor

This product works very well with farmhouse or rustic decor. The shelf was a little challenging to get assembled. You have to attach the shelf.bracket to the wall and to the shelf and the shelf attachment was a royal pain. I spent probably an hour just trying to make sure that the brackets were going to be level and equal. What finally worked was placing them up against a square wall so that I could make sure that it would be in the right place. Once I figured that out, the rest came out easy. Love it. Looks great

Wood was damaged

UPDATE: SO, I took everything off the shelves as they were starting to pull off the wall. That lasted about a week while I was trying to figure out what to do with them. Now they have pulled out of the wall completely. Drywall anchors and all. I have 6 holes to patch now and the wall looks terrible! The wood stuck to the paint and pulled it off where it touched the wall. These are simply too heavy to actually be useful for anything. Don't waste your time, they don't last and leave you huge holes to patch up. For the cost of these I would expect them to be next to perfect. This was NOT the case with mine. One shelf was nice, but the other one had thick, crumbling knots in both sides of the wood and some type of stain or resin dripped on it. That same shelf is also slightly bowed in the middle. I managed to get them hung but I am afraid to put much weight on that one shelf. Let's talk about assembly... The pipes come in pieces and are very hard to screw together tightly and evenly. Some pipes get stuck and others fit cleanly. This ends up being a royal pain when measuring to hang it because the pipes need to sit at different heights on the wall and different depths on the shelf. I got my husband to try and twist them together more but he couldn't get them to budge either. They are finally on the wall and they look nice, but I am not really happy with them. I wanted something with more of a sanded top for books. I don't mind the rustic look on the rest of the edges, but one side of the shelf should be smooth so it doesn't rip at the book jackets. Hanging them would be very helpful with 2 people. These are heavy! Trying to drill the screws in while holding it steady is very hard. I did do it myself, but it took awhile and my back was killing me when I was done. Would I recommend these? Well, no. Do I hate them? No. They do the job they are supposed to do, so I am going to go in the middle with 3 stars. They work. They are shelves. They hold stuff. They are simply not perfect and have more issues than I am comfortable with for a 4 star product.

Sturdy

Easy to install and they look great in my bathroom. It came with all the necessary pieces and hardware. Very happy with these shelves.

You had me at Reclaimed Wood!

These Reclaimed Wood Shelves look great! The wood is rustic, has some personality to it but it overall very smooth. The industrial hardware also looks great. I love that the wood is salvaged from rustic Ohio barns - can't beat that! I have not hung them yet as we are repainting but I do not foresee any issues. The hardware is quality and the shelves are perfect and flat.

NOT RECLAIMED BARNWOOD

The wood is cut pine, and maybe the pine was intended for use in a barn but this was not “reclaimed” from a physical barn. There is no weathering. We own reclaimed barnwood so we know it when we see it, and my husband does woodworking and said this is just a piece of pine which has not been sanded. Very misleading. It wasn’t even a pretty piece of pine, so my husband cut a piece of his pine and we are using it instead! The pipe part is excellent except for one fitting which needed some work to be able to screw together. Love the look of the black pipe for sure!! As a shelf it is great and is a cool look! Just know the wood is not what you expect, but since it is a shelf and will have things on it it is not that consequential. I just wish the seller would not be misleading about it. I deducted one star for the “reclaimed” bit.
