Accomplished intended use
During a 2,100 mile road trip I had zero issues. I did utilize extra ratcheting straps to ensure nothing moved while going 80+ mph so I cannot say if the provided straps will suffice. However, I drove through a sand storm and a thunderstorm and everything inside was in the same condition it was when I zipped the bag closed. No sand or water go through. Happy with the purchase.

Instructions need to be improved, especially the video & support team
I bought this for a 2021 BMW X3 (suv) without luggage racks. It fit well and lasted on our drive across the country from California to New York. We loaded a large dog crate with our luggage in it as well as backpacks and small bags. I would have given it five stars but there are some things I would have liked to have known in advance. 1. The straps need to be hooked into both tabs on each of the four sides on top of the carrier and pulled tight. I was not told that by the support team nor in the video. 2. To prevent the loud sound of wind hitting the straps and carrier, fill the carrier as full as possible on all sides. 3. We got a few slight tears on the carrier near the front straps. I used super glue and it worked fine. 4. Loading and unloading got easier each time we did it. At least 30 times, which made us experts at it. 5. We still have it and use it now that we are in Spain! 6. Worked very well in heavy rain. Everything stayed dry.

This things a fabric tank!
We got this and mounted it to my wife’s Chevy Traverse. It made it so our family’s five suite cases and Christmas gifts could all get packed into the car and travel 800+ miles on Christmas Day. Oh and then better yet back home on New Years with absolutely no issues at all. What a fantastic product

Time tested….
The media could not be loaded. We purchased back in 2016 and made several cross country trips from then until now 2023. It finally started leaking after 7 years of use. It has truly taken a beating and kept on kicking. I’m about to order a new one. We can easily fit 3 extra large samsonite suitcases and 2 small suitcases on top of our suv in this bag. It’s pretty easy to secure, sturdy and waterproof.

Big & tough, but I wouldn't say it's love
I bought this, the Non-Skid Roof Pad, and the Rightline clips for a move from Los Angeles to upstate Washington. I attached it to a 2008 Saturn Vue XE with roof rails, not an official rack. I'll be brief but try to be thorough. This carrier served its purpose. It got my stuff from Point A to Point B. It holds a LOT of stuff. I mean a ton! But even though I packed the corners tight and filled it up I still got some flapping and roof noise until I punched it around and jammed the corners against the rails of my car. I would recommend heavier stuff in the corners to prevent this. I would also recommend packing it as flat as possible; I had something sticking up a bit and the back straps shifted now and then, no matter how tight I made them. In the end I was able to punch it around until the strap got over it, but stuff shifted now and then anyway. THIS IS NOT WATER PROOF!!! I drove through three states in constant rain. I really, really tested out that claim. It's not. Everything in the front of the carrier and some of the sides got wet. I would highly recommend putting anything that shouldn't be wet in your car or in the middle, if you can. Fortunately it was just suitcases but the stuff inside the suitcases got wet, too, and I had a few other things suffer the consequences of this false claim. One thing I will say is this mother is TOUGH. It made my car too tall for my parking garage and both some ducts and the door of the garage tried really, REALLY hard to get this thing off the top of my car. Wouldn't budge. The top's a little scratched up from it, but altogether it held up fine. This is part of the reason stuff got shifted around after I packed it, and opening it up to reorganize EVERYTHING wasn't an option after that. I would recommend assembling it and filling it outside. All that said the reason it really lost the stars is because of the weatherproof claim. My stuff did get really, really wet. I just think it's OK. Getting it back into its little bag is not feasible. Please comment if you figured out how to fold this bad boy back up because I haven't. This is an outstanding, cheaper option to purchasing a hard body roof rack. I think if you go camping a lot or have a move like mine it'll really help you out. I wanted to rate three stars, but was honestly so impressed at how sturdy and easy it was to put on that I couldn't give it less than four. I didn't buy any of the Rightline locks. I used a little padlock, threaded a bigger padlock through that, then a flexible bike lock through those and the rails of my car. Kept everything secure. But I mean if someone wanted to take a knife to this carrier it'd be pretty easy to get to your stuff.

Works well, but a tad noisy
This cargo bag worked as advertised. Drove with it over 3000 kms on its first trip! Lots of rain for a good portion, stuff was very dry. We did fill it as full as possible as per the instructions and various other reviewers. We had no abrasion issues, but the bag does get quite noisy at highway speeds, very noticeable but not unbearable. Our vehicle (2009 Honda FIT) has quite a bit of road noise without the bag, not the most sound isolated vehicle, so I imagine it being quieter with larger suv's. Accessory Clips did not fit our vehicle, so we had to use the "through the vehicle" restraint method, which I found to provide better piece of mind with regards to how tight the straps kept troughout our trip. Overall happy with the product, great value for the money, quality material, seams and zippers. Straps could be a tad beefier.

It works!
I purchased this carrier, along with the non-skid roof pad and car clips to enhance the storage space of our 2010 Elantra Touring (which doesn't have any roof rails) for an upcoming summer camping trip. I was initially a little concerned that it might be too large after checking the manufacturers recommendations, however the measurements were right, so I took the plunge. As you can see from the photos, it fit perfectly. The car's manual states that the roof will support 80kg (176lbs), so loading capacity doesn't seem to be an issue with a carrier this large. As we plan on travelling this summer, I decided to test the carrier out with our gear to see how it would fare. I read all the reviews, watched all of the manufacturers videos, and read all the FAQs to ensure I was aware of all the recommended and proper loading and hauling procedures. Then I proceeded to load it up with two cots, a folding camp table, an 8-man tent, two following chairs, two pillows, a queen sized comforter, and a 106L Rubbermaid container. The carrier easily held all of this gear, with a bit of space remaining for various small items (next time I pack it, I expect to add our queen air mattress and two burner camp stove). I then strapped everything in, and went for a drive, heading out on some hilly and twisty back roads, averaging 50km/h. I made a stop about 5km in to get out and check the bag -- it hadn't budged. The straps were still perfectly tight. I checked it again after about 15km, and the story was the same. As I had tied up all of the excess strap, and ensured the bag was pretty well filled, there was no noise. It performed admirably. For our next trial, I plan on ditching the 106L Rubbermaid container, and replacing it with a canvas duffle of some sort instead. The container is a bit too tall to really get the velcro down at the back, and the zipper was a bit tight. But that's hardly the fault of the carrier bag itself (and it was to learn these things that I ran a pack-test before our first camping trip of the season!). Overall, a great solution to our extra storage needs when camping; I'm already looking forward to taking it on all this summers adventures!

Grande y resistente
No ocupa mucho espacio. La recomiendo ampliamente.

Excelente
