Hard to install, but affordable option.

I wanted to clasp the bags game boards together with this product. I really please with how it works and lays flat. There just aren't many options out there and this one was good enough for my project. I realize now that some people use rivets to attach the hardware, but I would have appreciated countersunk holes and black screws with the package. Perhaps offer a product for rivets and another for screws. Two levels of routing needed to completely recess it, which is fine but a template would have helped. For install: I used a router and set up a jig on the boards. It would have been easier if the boards were not already assembled so I could have worked on a flat surface or even set up a router table jig. So I used a jig that was adjustable and would clamp down for the desired width, since there is an inner width and outer width. I used a piece of plywood to stop it from going too deep into my board (Again two different depths needed). This plywood piece was attached with double sided woodworking tape. In hindsight, I wish I had done two separate jigs for the two dimensions. It would have been easier for me to attach and would have been easier for when I needed to router a little deeper after already changing the jig. Be aware that a simple Jig setup of 90degree corners won't get you the correct outer most curves. I used a 1/2" straight bit and the radius is more than that for the curve. Lastly, the hardware has rivets that go thru to the back. This makes the hardware wobble. I ended up drilling out some more wood behind the rivets on the hardware itslf (see pic) so that it would lay flat.

Well made but NO screws.

I like the latch and it's more than what I need for a track saw case but I see no way that it will come open so it's worth it to me.

Great latch but really sharp edges

These are great but they have some SHARP edges! I had to file a lot of sharp burrs off after ripping my knuckles open! So be careful if you are mounting these knee height on a road case

Install is a little hairy, but very strong and worth the trouble.

Installed these on a project today. Im not going to lie, they are a BOOGER to install. You basically have to route out for two layers. One for the body, then another 1/8 under that for the rivets. Also, you'll need to round out the edges of your recess for this hasp. That being said, these things are awesome. VERY STRONG, and VERY SECURE closer. No way my application is going to bounce open on accident with these bad boys.
