Disappointingly Underpowered

Bought the battery-powered version for a trip and was very disappointed with the product. Out of the box with a fresh battery in it, it's so underpowered that it struggled to cut any hair. It gets a two star rating because the nose-hair attachment actually functioned pretty well. Otherwise, it's a waste of plastic. Maybe I got a defective product, but I won't buy another one.

Best trimmer for the money. GMT100R

Perfect basic trimmer. So in the first picture you'll see three trimmers. The one to the left is the one that I recently had to replace. I'd say it was probably around seven years old. So I went out and bought another cheap trimmer I figured Wahl must make good stuff right? The one in the middle is the Wahl trimmer that I got to replace my original Conair. OMFG what a terrible POS! The sliding adapter that comes with it is large bulky and very difficult to adjust. But the worst thing is that it sounds like a chainsaw. It should be labeled Stihl. I say all that because I hadn't realized over the years how nice this Conair is. The adjuster is easy to move normally I just slide it all the way down or take it off completely, but being able to easily put the adjuster on and off is a real treat after having to use the Wahl. And it's pretty quiet, another feature I hadn't realized. You can use this thing like you would expect. If you start the Wahl up in the morning you're going to wake people up. I'm not kidding, if I didn't know better I would think it was a two-stroke.

Very poor purchase

This Conair beard trimmer was a bad purchase on our part. It lacks power and does not meet our expectations. The trimming comb attachment does not do a nice job unless the beard is very long in order to do a measured cut length. the battery cover pops open frequently when being used. I have used a Conair beard trimmer for the past 35 years and had good expectations from this one. It is so poor that I will never purchase another Conair product. My recommendation to others would be -- don't buy it, it's not worth the money. I'm going to throw it out, what a waste of my money!!!

Es barato,..y barato obtienes.

Se calienta al rato de uso y se apaga. Tienes que esperar un rato a que se enfríe para que vuelva a funcionar. NO TRAE CEPILLO DE LIMPIEZA COMO DICE. Pues para usos ocasionales está bien, si no tienes mucha barba y te rasuras pocas veces...pero de uso diario está muy chafa, NO es de uso rudo..
