Frustrating but works.

Not one piece. The long tube is loosely fitted and can come off. But I made it work for my small project.

Has more disadvantages than benefits

It fits nicely on the top of standard caulk nozzles and screws down securely. That's about the end for the good news. It's long, and it's very flexible. Consequently, you can't apply any pressure to the tip in order to force caulk into cracks. The diameter of the tube plus its length mean that you have to squeeze hard to push caulk out, and there's a seam at the bar of the extension where caulk oozes out at high pressure. Overall, I don't think this is a very good product, or at least not for the job I had.

Should have worked, but it didn't

In the past I've often had the need of an extension on my caulking gun to get into hard to reach areas. I always just made due, but with a recent project I decided it was finally time to check my options. This particular extension looked reasonable enough, and it should have worked. You have a fairly stout base unit that screws onto the caulking tube. That part was fine. You have a less stout extension tube that that supposedly squeezes onto the base unit. About halfway through the most difficult part of your caulking project, this extension will be forced off from the pressure of the caulking going through, creating a huge mess. There is no way this tube was constructed to stay attached. Some simple design changes would have made it fine. Don't buy this product unless you crave frustration, gooey messes, and wasting your money.

Great Theory -- Can't Defy Physics

Trying to squeeze butyl sealant through one of these tubes takes gorilla hand strength, trying to squeeze it through 2 tubes is like pushing a tennis ball through a garden hose. It might work with a more viscous material, but butyl and probably silicone are a no-go.

Not designed right

The idea is good but the design is poor. Does not work as it should. Try the "VEIREN 20 Pack Plastic Caulk Nozzles" instead. They work pretty well.

May look like a solution, but…

Reviews are right. It breaks at the connector with caulk gun pressure. ???? Even Gorilla Tape couldn’t prevent this.
